Saturday Puttering

Today is a dull rainy Saturday, just the perfect day to stay inside and putter around the house. On days like this our home feels so warm and cosy.
Like many of you, I love to putter around my home, re-arranging things, seeing what I can do to freshen up some corner of our home just a bit. It's nice to have some relaxing music on too.
This all started when I decided to pick some hellebores and euphorbia from my garden. What goes with flowers? Rabbits and birds.

I couldn't decide to put them next to the lamp or not. What do you think?
Hope you are having a nice relaxing day like I am.

  5. What a beautiful post, I love all the photographs. They depict the mood you are in, your home looks so cosy. I like your music too. It's a cold rainy new england like of day, but I see bud sprouting reminding me that Spring is around the corner. Have a lovely evening. Karen

  8. Oh I too love to putter around my home. In fact, that is what I have been doing all day today. I am just exhausted but very satisfied. You can catch a glimpse of what I am doing on my blog but I will tell you the full and funny story tomorrow...

I love your table with the flowers, bunny and birds. I did not know you could put hellebores in a vase? how long do they stay fresh when cut? I love them but am having a bad year for mine. I want to plant up more but have to go find some first.

    Hugs ~

  9. Rhondi,
thanks for popping by to visit me from Abbie's Place. I am enchanted with these plants...have never seen them before either, and I TOTALLY want to create a design for them with paper filigree. The blossom sorta remind me of Bells of Ireland, which I have already done. but these look so dainty! May I download your photos for reference? I would love to know if they are hard to grow and which is which, since you mentioned two different plants.
I'm glad I popped by...love to find inspiration in unexpected places!
