I think I will fill a jar with one blessing I'm thankful for each day, then read them at the end of the year. :)
xoxo,
MaryMaryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11799729997229744515noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2244312641135825556.post-19149099953539443662008-01-10T04:47:00.000-05:002008-01-10T04:47:00.000-05:00Hi Rhondi, what a beautiful post and wise words in...Hi Rhondi, what a beautiful post and wise words indeed. Yes, we need to remind ourselves of this more often. Not just magazines but I find TV and blogger also make me wish for things I can't have. We strive to emulate the old days in the way we decorate our homes, but we should also try to emulate some of the values that seem to have fallen by the wayside in this money-driven world.
Having said that, just for today, I am thankful for the Thrift Fairy! ;-)
best wishes to you,
Lucy xLucy Bloomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00101067906181532798noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2244312641135825556.post-32504554150765858132008-01-09T21:55:00.000-05:002008-01-09T21:55:00.000-05:00Rhondi,It's good to stop and take stock of all our...Rhondi,

It's good to stop and take stock of all our blessings....I like to think of my home as 'Linger Longer'. It is easy to forget thankfulness every day, but good to get that kick in the pants that reminds us of all we have rather than all we do not. I don't find myself disconntented as a rule though and always like to keep my eyes open to things that undermine my happiness. All in all, I get a lot more enjoyment than discontent from decorating. I love the name you have given your home, a constant reminder that our homes are a gift from God and our place to relax:>) Have a great day!Kathleen Gracehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11551093555973581448noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2244312641135825556.post-4245487408537557112008-01-09T08:27:00.000-05:002008-01-09T08:27:00.000-05:00I am thankful that I have you in my life.Love John...I am thankful that I have you in my life.
Love JohnAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08404869137878523858noreply@blogger.com
