Thankful Thursday

It has turned quite cold here in the last couple of days, so the furnace has been on a little bit more. I am thankful for a warm house, a house that protects us from the rain and wind and cold. I am thankful for warm clothes to wear when I have to go outside in the cold.

I have said this many times before but I am thankful for all the wonderful friends I've made since I began to blog. Yesterday was my one year anniversary of starting this blog and I am thankful for how you have enriched my life.

Here is a list of the others who are posting for thankful Thursday. I wonder what they are thankful for today.

What are you thankful for today?

  1. I know what you mean about having warm clothes. It is getting colder here as well. In fact, yesterday and today the morning temps are in the low 20's.!

I am so thankful for my beautiful
family who today is all well. For
the friends that I have met through
blogging. For the election being over. I just hope and pray for peace throughout the next four years. That our government will start helping our people that are homeless, and without jobs.I am so
sad because I know alot of people will really be without through the
holidays. I wish we could all join
together and do something for our
    people.

  9. Rhondi, I'm a newbie in the blog world in terms of having my own, and I have just posted a Thankful Thursday thread on my blog with a link to yours. I didn't know how to link it, so if you will kindly put my name on your list, I'd appreciate it! I loved reading what you and everyone else is thankful for, and I 'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for coming up with a day for us to count our blessings!

    XO,

    Sheila :-)

  17. Hi Rhondi! It's verrrrry cold here in KC,MO tonight---gonna get into the teens before morning! Wow, it just seems like yesterday when we were running the A/C! We're really trying to keep our themostat set low---but I'm a pansy at times and will crank her up a bit just to take the chill out of the air. Then I'm OK for quite awhile! I am thankful for the very things you just mentioned and also the gift of blogging friendship! What a whole new world this is! I recall meeting YOU when you hosted your Front Porch Party! That was so much fun!
Hope you have a great weekend! Dana
    Congrats on your blogging milestone!
