Thankful Thursday
There are so many things to be thankful for and I like writing them down because it helps me to me more thankful more often. Today I am thankful for:
beautiful spring weather
being healthy enough to go for a long walk every morning
a husband to walk with
a woods to walk in
seeing the first hummingbird yesterday
spending the week with our grandchildren in Texas last week
azaleas blooming in profusion
dogwood in the woods
chirping of the birds just before it starts to get light
my friend Susan who is helping me get back in to real estate again
my sister who is my best friend
a week today we'll get to see our 5 month old grandson who we haven't seen since Thanksgiving
What are you thankful for today?

I'm thankful for all the things I DO have and trying not to lust for what I DON'T have, which is difficult sometimes when I see a gorgeous purse or shoes, sugar. But I'm a happy chick and a few new stones to put near my patio would definitely be a gratitude thing for me this week. ;-)

I love your thankful list...they are all great things....
ReplyDeleteWalking through the woods and seeing the flowering plants and hearing the birds sing... sounds perfect to me! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteIt made me think of all the little things I forget to be thankful for like a warm bed and plenty to eat. Thanks for reminding me.
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful for blogs like yours that make me smile and feel good. I hope you have a wonderful day Rhondi....best wishes...Maura

ReplyDeleteAnd, we all share so many blessings.
Thankful for just taking a breath in this beautiful state. Enjoying spring.....and thankful to have a roof over our heads, and supper on the table.

Yikes, I would think it is a bad time to get back into real estate!! Lots to sell, but not many buying....but perhaps things will begin to change. It is terrible in our little town--many vacant houses! OOOOOPs this does not sound thankful! Ha!
ReplyDeleteI am enjoying the Spring and walks too. Have a nice weekend.
There is an award for you on my blog!
ReplyDeleteI am thankful for beautiful blogs to visit... for the sunshine, the green grass and the birds that chirp and for the rain it looks like we might get....as it is essential for us all.
ReplyDeleteBlessings.
Gwen
I'm thankful for the gift of my mum and dad, who just left to go back east this afternoon. I'm grateful for their good health and wonderful attitude towards life!
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Rhondi -
ReplyDeleteOf course you know at the top of my list today is the safe arrival of a beautiful - and healthy - new granddaughter this week. And friends like you and blogs like yours where I can come for a few minutes to visit and find a quiet place with a friend. Oh yes, for Spring and the blessings of health and happiness to enjoy it.

On days like this with the temp reaching 105 and the heat index around 110 we are so very thankul or air conditioned vehicles and homes as well as the places of business..
ReplyDeleteWe are thankful or Trees that shade us in many areas like [at least part of] our yards
We are [don't laugh] thankul for the SHAVED ICE CONES as we returned from the grocery store!
Our lives are so full of incredible things...even on a BAD DAY we experience such bounty and blessings.
God is Good!
