I think you know that I am passionate about quilting. I am getting ready to go to a quilt workshop and have been spending lots of time in my studio, so I thought I'd show you what I have been doing.
This is how I make a quilt. First I need something to inspire me. My inspiration is this book.
Hope you have a great day today and that the sun is shining where you are.

Hi Rhondi,
ReplyDeleteI am just catching up with a lot of past posts. I can understand how such beautiful fabrics and colors can inspire you -- can't wait to see the finished quilt!
Love your sunrise photos -- glorious!

Mary
Hello Rhondi,
ReplyDeleteAll those colours cheer me up! It looks GOOD!
Greetings, Carolien
I am writing to you while listening to the song wonderful world. Great song.
ReplyDeleteI was reading your blog about your journal also. It reminded me so much of my sis-in-law. She is always writing things down in her journal and she said the same things. She also uses the $1 notebooks.
I also wrote about a sunrise this AM and it really did make it feel like a wonderful day.
Thanks
OK, I'm gonna let you teach me to make a quilt here....I know it is easier said than done when you say "start making blocks"!! :)

My Mom quilted...there is so much that goes into it from start to finish. I am going to have fun stopping by here and going through the stages with you!
ReplyDeleteLove the fabrics you are using..

Penny
What a cheerful quilt this will be Rhondi! How can you feel like anything but sunshine with these colors. Was the sun shining this day or did you make your own? :)
