The hydrangeas in our garden this year are spectacular...a heavenly blue. I picked a large bunch of them yesterday and just had to show them to you before I start my work day. Aren't they gorgeous? I thought of Erin at The Painted Garden, when I put them in this blue glass vase. She has done some beautiful paintings of hydrangeas, one of which I won on her giveaway!
Just had to show them to you!
Hope you have a wonderful day
Rhondi xo
Hi Rhondi,
ReplyDeleteYour hydrangeas are heavenly! They look beautiful in the cobalt blue vase. I brought some inside the other day too so I could enjoy them. They are such a lovely flower.
Hugs,
Donna
They are gorgeous, Rhondi! I planted some here 3 years ago, and this is the 1st year they are that gorgeous Carolina blue!
ReplyDeleteThey truly look like Carolina blue! Ours are more lilac colored this year.
ReplyDeleteAmazing! Do you add acid to your hydrangea's to get the blue? Ours are just getting read to bloom in NJ...I cut mine back last fall(wrongtime) and now only a few blooms this yr but next year should bounce back...
ReplyDeleteWe have a couple of pink bushes, a white and 2 blues but it's too early for them over here yet. They're still in tight bud yet. I love that blue vase of yours
ReplyDeleteOh my..they have to be the most gorgeous flower ever. The colors are amazing. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rhondi, for a beautiful view of your hydrangeas and for leading me to Erin's The Painted Garden! Annie Joy
ReplyDeleteYour Hydrangeas are so BEAUTIFUL! I love the picture your took! My hydrangeas won't stay blue unless I put this magic stuff in the dirt and I usually forget :) They are all pink.

Hi Rhondi! Your hydrangeas are magnificent. They grow so well in your part of the country don't they? I enjoy visiting Erin's charming blog too. I hope that your real estate business is growing and that you are enjoying it!

Rhondi, my pulse quickened when I saw those gorgeous hydrangeas...my favorite flower in the world!
ReplyDeleteRhondi, this is the most stunning blue post I've ever, ever seen, sugar! WOW. I'm truly astounded by the blues.
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Connie
They look wonderful in the blue vase, and it is amazing how many colors can be found on one bush.
ReplyDeleteHi Rhondi, Love these-when we lived in Ca. they wouldn't grow for us because of the rocks in the soil, now I miss them so much and although there are some varities that grow here in Colorado they take such pampering in winter that we are passing and it makes me sad.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful evening.
Noreen
How gorgeous! In our climate, hydrangeas don't grow well...I'm lucky if I get itty bitty blooms every year.
ReplyDeleteYou have the most gorgeous hydrangeas Rhondi!
ReplyDeleteYou must have a fabulous green thumb!
Cindy
Amazing to think they are absolutely, truly real flowers - just perfection! Thank you for sharing these images - we could never have them winter over in Northern Wisconsin.

They really are just gorgeous! I think mine liked all the rain we had last winter (usually we're in a drought). You're so right about the variations in color. They really are my favorite!

Hi Rhondi, every year I say I'm going to get into your Porch Party, and this year we will be gone, so I can't fix it up properly - maybe NEXT year! I love your hydrengias, and Love the new painted porch - it looks so pretty with the green trees in the background!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week,

Your hydrangea is outstanding - what a gorgeous color. That is a very pretty collage and tablescape.

Rhondi, they are stunning. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWe are in hydrangea heaven at our house, too.
Hi Rhondi...thanks for stopping by...at the Jerseyshore if you dont put miracid on, the plants turn pink. Yours are just beautiful! I prefer the blue....thanks for the heads up on brugmania...I had never seen anything like it!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy planting morning glories. A nice surprise at the end of the summer. Everything is about a week early this yr bc of the warmer weather!
Yes, mine are awesome again this year too, in fact the ones in front of the porch are now much too big, and far too heavy laden with so many blooms, I must do a really big pruning later! Love the blues too, they are amazing shrubs and you really get a bang for your buck!! Only thing now is they are burning a bit with this intense heat - and since the driveway trees are gone there is full sun all day. The garden is always so much work, never ending, sigh!
ReplyDeleteI'm still posting those safari photos Rhondi, took so many and love sharing the animals with everyone. It was such an awesome time in my life...........best ever!
Hope things are going well dear, enjoy your weekend. Bob says hello.
Hugs - Mary
Oh I love these so much! I have a gnarly, half dead lilac that is in just the wrong place in my garden. My goal this summer is to dig it out and plant a hydrangea instead. Yours just makes me want to grab the shovel right now:>)
ReplyDeleteOh Rhondi, they really are heavenly beautiful.
