Three Years!

Hello dear friends
Now that I am working as a realtor, I am very busy and I haven't much time for writing. I thought that November 30 was my three year anniversary of blogging, but as I was getting ready to write this post I saw that the first one was Nov. 19!!  Three years and over 500 posts!!  It has been such fun. I planned to have a big celebration party but with working I just haven't been able to get it organized. That just shows how distracted I am....

From the very first cup of tea we shared, you have been very special to me.  You came into my life and left your sweet comments. You invited me into your lives through your blogs.  I have enjoyed every minute of it!
There is a season for everything and right now I am in a season of building a business.  To really do it well I need to give it my full attention which doesn't leave time to do lots of creative things and blog about them.

So for awhile I am putting my rose colored glasses away.

It has been a wonderful time and I'ved loved all of it.  You are all amazing women and I've enjoyed getting to know so many of you.

Perhaps if we decide to move to a new house I'll pick up my rose colored glasses again and take you on the journey with me.  Until then I'll stop by for a visit when I can.
Rhondi xo

  8. Ah, I feel a bit sad, but happy for you. Change is constant, and it is a good thing. It allows us to grow and learn.

Rhondi, you must know that I hold you close in my heart. You have come to be a good, even if "on-line", friend. I wish for you all that is good.

Please, please stay in touch. Maybe someday we will share time "on the porch".

  11. Rhondi,
Your blog was one of the first that I discovered and I have thoroughly enjoyed it since then. In fact I just popped over to get some Christmas decorating inspiration from a fellow blue and yellow fan :). I hate to think of you putting your rose colored glasses away permanently, but I certainly understand that your work keeps you very busy and there are only so many hours in a day.
Good luck with your new venture and Merry Christmas to you.
    Hugs,
    Kim

  19. Congratulations on three years! I know what a struggle it is to try to keep up with a blog, while working and making time for family, too. Good luck in the realty world and stop and update us once in a while. Happy Holidays!

  21. I so understand where you are coming from. Seems like life just catches up with us at times and other things get put on hold. I am there myself. I have not posted anything in quite awhile. While there is snow on the ground outside and I am hunkered down for the day thought I would catch up on my blog friend. Good luck in your future endeavors! Merry Christmas!

  26. In the rush of the holidays I failed to notice you had actually put your beautiful blog to rest for a while.............hopefully not forever though. It is very hard to keep going when life is so busy - who'd have thought these golden years would having us running faster than ever Rhondi.

It has been such a pleasure to know you, meet you, be invited to your lovely home, shop for antiques with you etc. I hope your new career brings you much satisfaction dear. We'll be here if you need us for anything.

Happy, healthy New Year to you, John and the family, and yes, I'm hoping we will meet up again some day in the future.

    Hugs Mary (and Bob).

  27. Most of us understand where you are coming from..I have observed that the incredibily gifted and sharing women doing this are also ladies with many responsibilities often trying to travel various paths all at once..We all have "life" size distractions too as I did with an emergency health situation and it becomes difficult to get back on track. Oh well as I have often said We have to "live life" in order to have things to write about and I will just bet you will find new and resh things to write and share with us! Be happy..ENJOY this journey.

  30. Hello Rhondi, I just realized you have retired your post for a while. I was amazed it has been so long since i visited you. The holidays sure slowed down my computer time. I wish you the best of luck in your revived real Estate business. I know any business is a challenge these days and needs constant attention to b e successful.
I hope you will blog again one day. Your blog is lovely and inspiring. I am so glad we were able to meet and I hope we will see each other again one day.

  35. Hi Rhondi! I haven't been blogging much either lately. It's kinda sad to see that many of the blogs that I remember from when I first started are all at different points in life now and not really blogging much. I guess that is how it goes, but I really hate to lose touch with people. I hope you are happy and enjoying yourself. If you post every so often, I am sure your regulars will be happy to get your updates. Take care!
