Porches

In preparation for my porch party on Tuesday, I thought I'd show you a couple of porches near my house.  Very few of the homes in my neighborhood have porches, so I drove to a neighborhood a couple of miles away.   In this neighborhood almost every home has a porch.  None of these homes are old.  They were built in the 1980s.

This last one is in a different development.  They enlarged their existing porch and gave it this craftsman style look.  My husband likes this one because they have a flat screen TV which hangs from the ceiling!

Well that is just a preview of porches.  I don't know the people who live in these homes.  If I did I'd invite them to my porch party on Tuesday.
But I do know you ... so you are all invited!

I will have the link ready for you to sign up at 5:00PM Monday.

  1. There is nothing more appealing to me than a porch on a house, wide sweeping porches with rockers and shade trees where families can gather and talk and enjoy each other. Glad you are sharing this with us.

  7. Hi Rhondi,

Oh goodness- I love porches. In Southern California we do not have many porches as the weather is so nice our yards are considered one big porch.
    Have a lovley day.
    Blessings,
    Erin
