It's the Weekend!

Hi blogging friends

I spent the day sewing quilt blocks and enjoying hearing the sound of a lovely rainfall most of the day. Everything is beginning to turn that wonderful spring green!

This is a butterfly on the lantana from last summer.

Hope you have a great weekend.

  1. Beautiful...I love butterflies and lantana flowers...I had to be careful showing mine on the blog last summer because many of my Ausie friends "hate" lantana as they fight it as a weed down under...

We are having a "snow event" here...sigh.....

Have a warm and happy day!

  3. What a lovely photo; I hope my lantana turns out half as nice.
We are enjoying the winter/spring greening over our area, & looking forward to the return of butterflies.

  5. We don't get this particular variety of butterfly over here, it certainly is very beautiful. Tammy said Lantana grows like a weed down under, I wish mine did, I think I have lost it? Not surprising if I have, I bought it as a very small plant, maybe I may get a surprise come summertime. x

  8. I'm dreaming of butterflies and blossoms. My blog has snow photos from Friday and since then we've had another 6 or 7 inches. Enjoyed the beautiful photo.

    Blessings,

  9. Sounds like a fun weekend Rhondi! We have rain again today too and are expecting a storm tomorrow. It was nice on Saturday though so we bought some climbers and planted them for our living fence. Well, Jos did. I had to point where they went as I was not doing well yesterday. I also took some quilt fabric to the cottage to do some cutting but no such luck. I am actually grateful for the rain as I think it will help the new plants take hold.

    Have a very happy Sunday!

    Hugs ~

  13. Your butterfly is so beautiful.
We don't have any sign of greening here. It has been way to cold yet.
I am so ready to see signs of springs on the trees, grass and flowers.
I did put some seeds in a hot house so that will it warms up, then I can get them out. I have never done the seeds before. I am hoping that they do come up. I guess we will see how green my thumb is.
