  3. A favorite flower of mine. Love your blue colored ones. I wish I had room for more. Mine are currently getting an hour of direct sun in the afternoon and look like the photo you posted during that heat wave. This should only last another week and then the sun will be lower in the sky again.

  4. I had great admiration for Lady Bird Johnson. She was an incredibly strong woman who endured much, but remained focused on making the world a better place.

Your blooms are beautiful, and I know you must be enjoying them. Thanks for sharing with us.

  5. Hello Rhondi,
Your flowers are beautiful! When I look at the picture in your header, I just want to set down and breath in the beauty. And a glass of pink lemonade and a cupcake would be very nice. Thank you for a lovely post and have a wonderful day....

  8. Rhondi,

Thanks for stopping back at my blog and believe me, I understand about "cholesterol" - I have mine controlled with meds!

So, when I make the meatball sandwich for my husband on a bun, I have mine on a whole wheat or spinach tortilla wrap...or on Pumpernickel bread (which is allowed on my diet...within moderation).

  12. Oh Rhondi, how beautiful is that! Hydrangeas are one of my favorite flowers, I bought my first one this spring, but the leaves are looking kind of scorched, and I'm screaming... I've planted them in a shaddy place, so I can't figure out what's wrong with them.... :(

I would love to have your garden feature on our "Garden Party" this coming Saturday. Send me a pic and I will add you to our list.

    Hugs

  22. Rhondi,
Those flowers are beautiful.I was so sad last year when Lady Bird Johnson passed. My daughter lives in Austin and the church that they had Lady Bird's Memorial is right next to her Condo. We couldn't figure out what was going on until we turned the television on and realized that it was her funeral. She did wonderful things for the Texas road sides. By the way, those twin boys are precious. You are so blessed to have two!

  24. I love hydrangeas! Yours are perfect. Here they bloom at Christmas time in summer. I always associate them with the Christmas church service. And as for hope - without it we cannot face tomorrow. Most of all our hope in Christ! Love Eleanor
