What To Do?

I am sitting at my computer having a mug of tea. (I just noticed that you can see a bit of the table where I am sitting and my mug of tea in the upper left corner of this photo.) I have a quilt that I have been working on and I have a bit of a deadline on it and I really should work on that today. But it's a beautiful day outside. Should I work on the quilt? Or go outside in the yard where there is lots needing to be done.

Things are blooming everywhere...

in the wooded part of the garden

on the fence

The azaleas are just beginning to open.
Flowers fill pots on the deck.
See the sunlight shining in through the door? I can't resist. The garden is calling me! I hope you are enjoying your day!

I love that quilt! That's one thing I always wished I'd learned how to do from my grandmother. What an art!

  3. If it was that way here (no flowers here...no sun...no pleasant temps here) I'd be outside!!! I guarantee you!!!

But...I am at my sewing machine making window treatments!!!

  5. Your garden looks beautiful - I love your bleeding heart flower I bought one a few days ago and have it planted in the garden and it seems to be settling in nicely. Judith

  6. I love the quilt Rhondi! I hope we get to see it all unfurled when it's done. My husband was looking over my shoulder and he loved it too! You are so fortunate to live far enough south to have flowers in the yard already:>)

  7. I'm doing the same...at the computer with a cup of green tea.

Would love to be working outside but we're expecting snow this weekend. It is too cold anyway. But I'm optmistic that all my flowers will bloom before too long. I cut some forsythia branches this morning to force. Also picked a few crocus to put in a short tiny container.

  16. Love the quilt you are working on.
Do you machine quilt and if so what kind of machine do you use?
I own a Bernia and I have just started to learn how to quilt on machine and am looking for a machine with a larger working area.
