I am sitting at my computer having a mug of tea. (I just noticed that you can see a bit of the table where I am sitting and my mug of tea in the upper left corner of this photo.) I have a quilt that I have been working on and I have a bit of a deadline on it and I really should work on that today. But it's a beautiful day outside. Should I work on the quilt? Or go outside in the yard where there is lots needing to be done.
Rhondi~
ReplyDeleteI love that quilt! That's one thing I always wished I'd learned how to do from my grandmother. What an art!
I think we are all suffering from Spring fever. Enjoy your day!

If it was that way here (no flowers here...no sun...no pleasant temps here) I'd be outside!!! I guarantee you!!!
ReplyDeleteBut...I am at my sewing machine making window treatments!!!
;-)
The quilt looks beautiful, but I can see why the yard won!!! It looks really pretty where you are, so glad you can get out in the sunshine and enjoy it!!
ReplyDeleteYour garden looks beautiful - I love your bleeding heart flower I bought one a few days ago and have it planted in the garden and it seems to be settling in nicely. Judith
ReplyDeleteI love the quilt Rhondi! I hope we get to see it all unfurled when it's done. My husband was looking over my shoulder and he loved it too! You are so fortunate to live far enough south to have flowers in the yard already:>)
ReplyDeleteI'm doing the same...at the computer with a cup of green tea.
ReplyDeleteWould love to be working outside but we're expecting snow this weekend. It is too cold anyway. But I'm optmistic that all my flowers will bloom before too long. I cut some forsythia branches this morning to force. Also picked a few crocus to put in a short tiny container.
the quilt looks beautful but the garden does too. However, you would have to chain me to the sewing table to keep me indoors on a beautiful day!

I hope you enjoyed the fresh air and colorful beauty all around you today! I so love Springtime!!! : }
ReplyDeleteAnd, the quilt is LOVELY.........I am a big Mary Englebreit fan and it reminds me of her art with all of the fantastic colors.
Joyful Because of Jesus,

You made the right decision! I would be out there in the garden in an instant!

No contest....I'd be outside too!
ReplyDeleteThat quilt is a treat though......

ReplyDeleteThat quilt is gorgeous, but I would definitely be outside. Besides, you can quilt at night.
ReplyDeleteI think I would have chosen the garden as well Rhondi!! Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeletePS that is a beautiful quilt!
Beautiful quilt! But like you I would choose the garden on a warm day!
ReplyDeleteLove the quilt you are working on.
ReplyDeleteDo you machine quilt and if so what kind of machine do you use?
I own a Bernia and I have just started to learn how to quilt on machine and am looking for a machine with a larger working area.
Brenda
I would have to go outside and work in the flowers! You can work on the quilt later. By the way it is a beautiful quilt. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteThat quilt is calling me! Love the colors in it, Rhondi! It reminds me of the glory of Jacob's coat of many colors! Can't wait to see what you do with it...
ReplyDeleteXO,
Sheila :-)
