What a blessing grandchildren are! These are our three, twin boys aged 3 and a 5 year old girl. They look so cute with their backpacks walking up to the entrance at preschool. I have been in Texas for the past week looking after them while my son and his wife went up to Canada for her grandpa's funeral. It was non stop activity: school, ballet classes, a birthday party, puzzles, games, reading stories, trips to the park, the mall, Wendy's, church, bath time, spilt milk .... and lots of hugs and kisses mixed in!
So today I am "good and tired", meaning I am tired in a good way!
I'm wondering what y'all have been doing this past week, so I'm going to be stopping by for a visit today. See you soon!
Rhondi xo
Hi Rhondi. Glad you are back. I know your family appreciated your help so much. The kids are precious. :)
ReplyDeleteThey are precious! I bet that they loved having you there with them!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you got to spend some time with your sweet grandchildren! They look so adorable! I'm sure you made many lasting memories!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back, Rhondi! I'm sure that your grandchildren had a great time with their grandma - and your son and DIL were able to take off with no worries about what happened at home.
ReplyDeleteI'm working on my porch, but the weather here is working against me...so cold and stormy, night and day since Monday. Brrrrrrr
Welcome home, Rhondi. How nice that you could spend the week with your grandchildren. The photo of the 3 of them is just precious.
ReplyDeleteGrandchildren........On of lifes most wonderful blessings. Glad you had a great time with them, but they can tire you out. Rest and be well..
ReplyDeleteHi Rhondi, funny I was talking to my brother-in-law. He said I have too much company and I get too tired for my own good. I said I love company and the only time I really get tired is during grandkids week. LOL. all my nine grands in one week and some of their parents too. Exhausting to say the least and I wouldn't change it for anything. that kinf of tired is a 'good thing' you are so right.
ReplyDeleteI adore the photo of the little ones going to school. Our grands are what makes the world go round. In fact I have a post today about our Ashley who is 14 years old. Bragging is running high today. Big smile!!!
Hugs...Jeanne
Oh Rhondi, what a blessing that you were able to spend such quality time with your grandkids! How lucky you are! I would be pretty much exhausted too! But it's a good kind of exhausted right? XXOO
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize the boys are twins...... oh they are so sweet.... I wish mine were that small again..... precious... Those are the best kisses.... grand kisses

Rhondi, thanks for stopping by. What precious grandchildren you have & I can see why you're good & tired. I would be too! Younguns can wear you out. Your porch is beautiful, as usual, I love your newly planted tureen. I'll have to come & visit your porch party this year. I don't have a porch to fix up.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back! Such a precious photo. I'm doing that next week, but just one!
ReplyDeleteOh they look so precious! I miss my girls being that age so much. My oldest is in her terrible twenties and my youngest is coming up on 19. *sigh* they grow up so fast.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, Rhondi. They are adorable. Of course you adore them. My heart beats for my sweet grandson.
ReplyDeleteHi Rhondi,
ReplyDeleteGreat to see you and thank you for stopping by. The grandkids are adorable with their backpacks. I bet you really enjoyed your time with them, and like you said, a good kinda of tired.
So sorry to hear of the passing of the grandpa. Blessings to you and yours always.
Thanks again for coming by to visit. Hope to see you again soon.
Have a great weekend.
Hugs, Celestina Marie
What a precious picture, and so great when a grandparent can spend such memorable time with their grandchildren. It's something they will remember when they are grown. Just love this picture.
