Did you have a good Christmas? Ours was quiet and very relaxing. Now Monday morning it's back to normal and I'm ready to take all the decorations down.
Saturday was sunny and mild and I washed some of the windows. As the song says, "I can see clearly now"! What a difference clean windows make.
The sun sparkles through the clean glass.
It's hard to believe that in just a little over 2 years, I am at my 400th post! This calls for a giveaway.
Are you wondering what it could be?
These photos are all a part of it.
I am giving away a set of 4 luncheon plates and a copy of one of my favorite books, A Gift From The Sea by Anne Morrow Lindbergh.
Thank you for making it possible to reach 400 posts. I wouldn't have made it without your faithfulness in leaving comments! It has been an exciting journey.
Rhondi xo
Rhondi, it is over here too! Everything pscked away before we leave for UK. It was lovely while it lasted and to see my daughter was a joy.
ReplyDeleteCogratulations on your 400th post! I'd love to join the giveaway if I can, not living in USA?

Congratulations, Rhondi, on all the writing (and photography)! I always enjoy your blog. Love those sparkly clean window views! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Rhondi -
ReplyDeleteChristmas is coming down at my house, too! All the decorations are on the dining room table and a bit of the kitchen counter, waiting to go in the one million boxes my sweetheart brought down from the attic (again) last evening. I love the photos of the sunshine through your clean windows. Oh how I need to wash windows at my house, too.
We had a nice Christmas at our house. It was a quiet 'adult' day as we had celebrated with the kids and grandkids a few days before. Now I'm ready to move on toward the New Year and more blog fun with friends like you!
Your give-away looks like fun. Of course I'd love to be part of it.
~Adrienne~
Oh those are adorable. Congrats on your 400th blogdom posting. I have a little magic going for me (or us) ... Dec. 31 is our 43rd wedding anniversary so my fingers are crossed.
ReplyDeletethanks.
Rhondi, the sparkly windows are a wonderful way to go into the new year. I so need to wash our windows, but since moving into this house have always hired someone to do that job. We have so many levels it's a major job.
ReplyDeleteWe had the best Christmas! It was filled with family, friends, and much joy. The best kind of celebrations.
Congratulations on your 400th post. Beautiful plates and GIFTS FROM THE SEA is such a special book. I've given it many times, but don't have a copy of my own. I'd be delighted to be entered in this generous give away.
Enjoy your beautiful home and those sparkly clean windows. ~ Sarah
How nice to start the new year with sparkling clean windows and what a pretty view you have there.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your 400th post. It has been my pleasure to drop by and visit you. Your blog is always a lovely place to spend time.
You have put together a beautiful giveaway and I would love to be included.
Thanks and have a wonderful week.
Delightful scene through the clean windows. Most of our decorations will not come down until my niece gets home from a mission assignment from India. My sister & I have promised to re-enact Christmas for Meg. I was late putting up the decorations, so I am OK with looking at them for another week or so. The tree may come down, but not the others.
ReplyDeleteThe plates are gorgeous. I think that any of us would be blessed to add them to our table settings.
Have a sunny, warm day...if not the weather, in spirit,
Beckie in Brentwood, TN
Hi Rhondi....Christmas was quiet here too except for the 6 hours that the family was here. It got very quiet again when everyone left! Your shiny clean windows make me think that I need to clean mine! ~Happy New Year! Patti

Your windows looks so shiny and bright. Good for you. I just noticed yesterday how much ours could use a good cleaning. We are having our deck rebuilt, so outside cleaning will have to wait until all of the work is finished.

Hi Rhondi, thanks for stopping by my blog! I don't think you've visited before. Thought I'd post a comment back and, lo and behold, you're having a giveaway. What better place to comment! I'm not a North Carolinian born and bred, but have been here 30 years. I'm no long teased about my Northern accent, so I guess I'm one of ya'll. Love your blog and thanks for leading me to it! xo, Nana
