I was thinking this morning about how amazing blogging is. There are some of you that I've been connected with for 2 years, some I've gotten to know and care about, some I've met in person and some that sneak in each day, have a look around and leave just as quietly as they came.
There are many talented and generous bloggers and one of them is Erin at The Painted Garden. I was lucky enough to win a a giveaway with a gift certificate to Anthropologie and this original painting by Erin. The colors in it are perfect for me. I love it!
.
Gift # 176 cardinals everywhere flitting around just outside my window. If you don't know what the gift thing is I'll explain tomorrow. If anyone wants to join in for Thankful Thursday please copy the button on my side bar. I'll have a mr linky up for you tomorrow.
I just wanted to say "good morning". I hope you have a wonderful day!
Rhondi xo
P.S. I hope those of you who love Christmas will forgive me for my ranting and raving yesterday :)
Good morning, Rhondi. I love your happy holiday banner!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on winning Erin's givaway! She does beautiful work, and I love the Welcome sign...just perfect for you.
Have a wonderful day!
Hugs,
Donna
Good morning, Rhondi - what a sweet little sign that is - perfect for you! I look forward to more of your 'gifts' postings. They make me think about all the things in my life that make me happy.
ReplyDeleteRhondi, I have enjoyed seeing the cardinals outside our windows, too. I get excited every time I spot one.
ReplyDeleteBlogging is wonderful, and you are one of the reasons why.
Congratulations of winning such a wonderful giveaway.

I love your bright reds on your table. Just when I think I am done with my decorating I find another little something to put out. By Christmas the house will be to perfection...just in time to take it all down.
ReplyDeleteHi Rhondi! Oh, how pretty the little sign is! Hope all is going well with you.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
shelia ;)
"... will forgive me for my ranting and raving yesterday.."
ReplyDeleteOf course, I had to go back and read what you said.
THAT was ranting? Girl, come over here when one of my employees show up late, and I'll show you real ranting.
I actually wanted to give you an award for blogging I received and was told to pass it on; but I decided that I'm a little too racy and saucy and probably am one of the girls your momma told you not to play with.
But I want you to know I did think of you and I enjoy coming to your blog very, very much.
Congratulations on winning that wonderful gift certificate and such a beautiful painting:>) DOn't worry Rhondi, I love Christmas too, just not the shopping aspects of it!
ReplyDeleteHow lucky you are to win one of Erin's beautiful paintings. I just love her work and she is such a sweet and generous person!
ReplyDeleteLovely painting -- and I didn't see any ranting or raving in your post today -- but I did see a lovely and gracious post about our blogging world and how amazing it is!
ReplyDeleteCass
Congratulations on your beautiful prize.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry about your "rant" yesterday, I enjoyed it.
Congratulations, Rhondi! It is a lovely way to say "Welcome" when your guests come for tea.
ReplyDeleteThank you for coming to visit my blog and sharing your Christmas memories. You have made my Christmas that much warmer and brighter.
Warm cup of tea for you,
Miriam
I love Anthropologie, it's a fabulous store, there are so many things that I want there (the shoes are especially cute!) The Hydrangea painting is so sweet.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the win. The painting is just too cute.

Congrats on the win Rhondi! Lovely painting! I sure miss Cardinals!!! I would give anything to see one now. Funny how you take things for granted when they are yours, but then when you lose them . . . you realize their value. No cardinals in England I'm afraid, but we do have pretty cute robins!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely gift, congratulations. I'd love to see cardinals one day, how lucky you are to enjoy them. I love the header.
ReplyDeleteI cannot imagine life without all the wonderful friends I have made through blogging. Great gift you won!!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on winning that pretty painting. It makes me think of you.
ReplyDeleteRant? What rant? I read a very thought provoking post. It is good for us to question and to be sure that what we are doing is intentional ( sorry about that over-used word, but I couldn't think of another one at the moment ) I feel good about my questioning and the resulting changes. And I still love Christmas! How could I not, when it celebrates THE Gift.
Blessings!
I've been a bad blogger lately but I'm trying to catch up with my friends and what they have been doing so I'm looking at your pretty decorations and wishing mine were up! Your blog is always so sweet. Love your ideas and even rants!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on winning that awesome giveaway! That little painting is just so perfect for you!
