Good morning
ReplyDeleteI have so much to be thankful for and love that you are going to be doing this often.
I am thankful that I am off today and that I have Christmas day off this year.
Maggie
It sounds like you are having a wonderful time! Snow here tomorrow! (so they say)...you know how that is.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful list!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a very blessed holiday season!
You are a beautiful woman inside and out!
In Christ,
Jill
Thanks for the reminder to focus on the gifts we already have Rhondi! I linked in, even though my post isn't a list it is a story of something that really happened yesturday.
ReplyDeleteYour post is a good reminder that the true Spirit of Christmas is manifested best in our attitude and not in the giving and receiving of gifts or in the decorating and celebrating.
Have a blessed day!
Yes, I read recently that being thankful is, indeed, very healthy. I enjoy your list each week. I think about the things we are thankful for in common, and then about the things that are unique to me. This week it's about my grandchildren and their parents who will arrive tomorrow, about a kind and gentle phyiotherapist who's helping me with my hand, the rain that has been falling for two days, clearing the ice from the roads so that I can run around and do some last minute things!
ReplyDeleteSuch sweet blessings.
ReplyDeleteWe are still waiting for snow. None is forecast. But can still hope. Wonderful things to be thankful as all ways.
ReplyDeleteI am very thankful for friends today.
ReplyDeleteThese are my two favorite thoughts about being thankful and not getting too wrapped up and concerned:
ReplyDelete"Cultivate the thankful spirit! It will be to you a perpetual feast."
John R. MacDuff (1818-1895)
And:
"The man who comes to a right belief about God is relieved of ten thousand temporal problems, for he sees at once that these have to do with matters which at the most, cannot concern him for very long."
A.W. Tozer (1897-1963)
That is a huge list! Thanks so much for sharing your thankfulness today.
ReplyDeleteIt is good to be reminded of things that I have let go to the wayside. I keep a gratitude journal and even a blog, but I have not been good about keeping them updated. I will do better starting yesterday. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely agree that being thankful is good for you.
ReplyDeleteAnd, I think you are great.
Lovely and Happy Holidays!
ReplyDeleteYour quilts are amazing!
Sandra

ReplyDeleteYou have yourself a wonderful weekend enjoying the reason for the season!!! :o)
