As I pondered these things this morning, my eyes glanced at the pot of flowers I have on the table, and I wondered how many times I had changed the arrangement throughout the year. So I looked back over previous posts and this is what I found.
blue glass
books , china, daffodils
red check cloth, Advent tree, red teapot
Sometimes it's just messy!
blue and white china
red, blue and yellow
lamp, fruit, golden rod
bunnies and flowers
It's fun to change things around. If you have collected lots of cheap stuff, wonderful treasures like I have, then it doesn't cost anything to make some changes!
Today will be a lazy day. Hubby will watch football and I will take down the Christmas tree. Usually the tree is long gone but we had friends over last night and so I left it up. If the weather cooperates we'll go for a walk in the woods and have leftovers for dinner.
The winner of my 400th post giveaway is Marie. I always want to call her Sweet Marie because she is so sweet! We are both from Canada and Sweet Marie is the name of a chocolate bar they have in Canada. Congratulations, Sweet Marie!
To all of my friends I hope that 2010 is a year filled with joy, hope and blessing for you and your family.

Rhondi, I have loved all of your arrangements. They're always beautiful, sweet and very folksy to me. Just the kinds of things I love. I especially love it when you show your red and white collection and your blue and white collection, two of my favourite of all time colour combinations! If I had to pick between the two, I couldn't! I am absolutely gob smacked that I won your giveaway!! I can't believe it! But you know what's even better than that? Your kind words that you have said about me here. Not sure I really deserve them, but I'll take them gladly and treasure them. Pinching myself now as I just can't believe I won! What a wonderful start to my new year! Thanks so very much! xxoo
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, Rhondi -
ReplyDeleteI don't make resolutions, either, but I make a list of things I want to accomplish. Cleaning and organizing - and simplifying things - is on the list this year. And more time with family and friends. I wish for you a wonderful year filled with blessings from our Father above!

Since I am a new blogger of only 3 months, I am delighted you showed previous table arrangement that I never saw. How lovely each is. Went through them 4 times and still cannot decide with is my favorite. Each one is so unique and delightful in it's own right.
ReplyDeleteMay this year be beautiful and give you bountiful blessings.

Whoops, each time I leave a comment, I keep forgetting to ask what is the name of the lovely blue and white china on your header picture? I have never seen these before and they just take my breath away each time I stop to visit you. Thank you Rhondi for letting me comment twice. I just have to know about those lovely dishes.

ReplyDeleteI grew up in Toronto, ON but have spent the last several years in Georgia. Where in Canada were you from?
Hi Rhondi,
ReplyDeleteYours is one of the first blogs I discovered last year when I became a blogger, and though I haven't been around for a while, I enjoyed seeing your tablescapes from the past year again in one post. The photos actually brought back the feelings of the last year, when I was just discovering the world of blogging.
This was refreshing for me. I love your arrangements- from color combinations to the items grouped.
I am sorry I was away for so long.
