I read some wise words yesterday. A young mother of preschoolers whose husband is the pastor of a fast growing new church was talking to another wife of a pastor of an established vey successful church. Her children were all grown up and out on their own. The younger woman asked if it was easier now. Her response was, "It's never easier. It's just different." That is so wise.
This is my 99th post and to celebrate my 100th post I will be having a giveaway tomorrow, so make sure you come back!
Rhondi xo
So true! I love your blue. Can't wait to see what you have planned for your 100th. ~Adrienne~
ReplyDeleteIt certainly is never easy, but thank God that we reap the rewards.
ReplyDeleteThat picture is gorgeous.
Hi Rhondi, I thought I would stop by and thank you for leaving a sweet message. I just LOVE the blue glassware in this picture and the blue decor of your lovely home. Very pretty!
ReplyDeleteLove, Ann
What wise words indeed. We have found that actually the issues get larger! Weddings, divorces sadly, new babies, housing...and so on!
ReplyDeleteAgain, beautiful photos. I love the blue glass.
Oh I love, love how pretty that blue looks in your window:-)
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!!
Thanks for the visit! What an excellent perspective. As one in the midst of 'different' I can relate. My mom loves to say "Little kids, little problems...big kids, big problems." I'm beginning to finally understand!
ReplyDeleteAmen to that...with my kids finishing high school and one married and gone, I can honestly say, that it never gets easier....just different. I will be back tomorrow. Susan
ReplyDeleteYour blue bottle collection just about takes my breath away every time I see them...
ReplyDeleteYes, wise words that are so true...
Congratulations on your upcoming 100th post....
hugs, bj
