There is a lovely stream we cross over
The view looking the opposite way up the stream.
These are little tiny wildflowers in my favorite color!
After we cross the stream we leave the woods and follow a wide path for awhile.

This is one of the paths that provides access from one of the nearby neighborhoods.

Then about a month ago a lot of equipment came in and some engineer thogutht that this is a more eficient way to let the water run through a woods, so instead of a pretty little stream like the last phot, with a quaint bridge crossing over it we now have this eyesore and a huge clearing that used to be filled with lots of very tall trees. What were they thinking? It makes us very angry and sad at the same time!
In the distance you can see a little bit of red in the bushes. Those are the azaleas in our backyard, which I'll show you one day this week.
And so we are back home and we wander up the hill through these trees to our home, where I'll put on the kettle and make us a pot of tea.
What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon! I'm so glad youwere able to join us.

Lordy! I'm suppose to be doing my work around the house and I got stuck on your blog and can't get off! LOL! The walk was a wonderful excursion; thank you so much! I feel better and more calm than I have felt since the 'snake incident.' Thank you so much for sharing!
