Blue Monday

As many of you know I love blue, so I decided to join in on Blue Monday. It happens over at Smiling Sally. She has a list of all the other participants and I know you will find it fun to see all the blue.

In the afternoons when the sun shines into my kitchen all this blue glass just sparkles and I love it!

I've been given the "lemonade award" by Donna at Donna's Art . Thank you Donna! This award is based on displaying great attitude or gratitude and I always enjoy visiting Donna because she always cheers my day. Please stop by to see her and check out her fabulous art!

I hope when you read my blog that it is a positive part of your day. There are so many reasons to be discouraged right now so I like to think that stopping by for a cup of tea with me will cheer you up just a little bit.

I am going to pass this award on to just one person because of all the bloggers I know, I think she most epitomizes great attitude and gratitude. It's Marie at A Year From Oak Cottage. If you don't know Marie , you must visit her and if you do, you'll see why I think she deserves this award! What I love is her positive attitude, and her gratefulness for everything in her life, both good and bad. I always feel encouraged and hopeful after reading her blog. Oh and she makes the MOST DELICIOUS recipes ever!

    what a fantastic assortment of blue bottles. I smiled as I read your post as I am currently endeavouring to complete an assignment on Positive Psychology and then read the line..'a positive part of your day' well yes it was and is. Judith

    Rhondi, those are really neat bottles, plates, etc. I had a friend who collected green depression glass and did the same thing with them. Her Easter table used to be amazing. I think the blue is equally beautiful!

    Oh gosh Rhondi! I don't know what to day. I am truly humbled by your beautiful words about me. Not sure I live up to them, but I'll take them just the same as well as this wonderful award that comes with them. Thanks so much!! I have to say though that I have always found your spot here on the web to be a great inspiration to me! You so totally deserved this award yourself. I love to come here and see what you are getting up to and read your words and see your treasures. I just adore your blue things!!
