The scene just outside my studio door.
Bushes at our side door.
And these dear little daffodils are wondering what is happening. They are almost ready to bloom.
The best thing about snow in North Carolina is we can enjoy the beauty of it, knowing that this time tomorrow it will be gone, no shovelling, no plowing, no slush!
Winter for one day. It's perfect!
Rhondi xo
I was so excited when it started to really snow last night! We got about 1 inch and the sun is out this morning. The snow sparkles like diamonds!
ReplyDeleteWe are lucky, aren't we?

Rhondi,
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, looks like you got a bit more snow than we got here in Asheville. But isn't it lovely.
Love & Prayers,
Ronda
Pretty photos. You got a lot more than we did. I'm jealous :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Rhondi! You know I ordered that snow up just for you!! ;-)
ReplyDeleteIs that a cardinal on the tree branch in the 2nd photo or am I imagining things again??!!
Happy Tuesday!

Well Rhondi, you just go right ahead and enjoy that lovely snow! I'm with you on the best part being that it will be gone very soon!
ReplyDeleteRhondi:
ReplyDeleteMy word, I was just doing some updating on my blog and came across a comment of yours on an old entry from the summer about Anne Ortlund Thanks so much for commenting and I'm sorry I missed you.

Love your pictures. It was 66 degrees today in the plains of Colorado. No snow for us:( I absolutely love the photo of the cardinal. We don't have cardinals out here, and I think they're the prettiest birds.
ReplyDeleteIf you want some more I'd be glad to send you some. We've got plenty and more coming this weekend. It is beautiful though. Mimi
ReplyDeleteOh yes, winter for one day would be perfect. We however have it for a very long time and this year we are getting snow snow snow. Our temps are extremely cold also. A very good time to stay indoors and stitch and knit.
ReplyDeleteHave a good day.
Nancy
Wonderful! It's been so warm here this last week that I felt like winter had ended. Enjpy the cozyness.

We only ever get winter for one day too, in our bit of England (Lincolnshire). Good isn't it!
ReplyDeleteI wish I had a view like that though.
love, Angie, xx
Beautiful photos, especially the one with the cardinal! Looks like NC got more snow than SC, my daughter lives in SC and she sent me photos of our little Caden in his first snow!

Rhondi, your last sentence just made me want to pack my bags and move to North Carolina... You're absolutely right - you have the best of both worlds - the beauty of winter without any of the hassle! Enjoy that wonderful view!... Donna @ An Enchanted Cottage
