Well, it faces out on to a woods and so we have no need for any curtains on the windows. So as I am brushing my teeth or blow-drying my hair I can look out on a beautiful scene: the woods, the birds at the feeder or the birdbath, and occasionally some deer wandering by. We have a clear plastic shower curtain, so when the sun is shining and I am having a shower the sun shines right in and it almost feels like I could be outside. I love it!
Here is a list of the other participants in Thankful Thursday. Why not spread thankfulness around and visit them if you can.

So today I am thankful for my "bathroom with a view".
Since I wrote this post last night I have something much more important to be thankful for today. Our little 2 1/2 year old grandson Christopher has been in the hospital since Sunday night, with a very serious infection. The antibiotics have finally started to work. The infection is under control and they're letting him go home today. They also discovered a serious spot on his lung, but when they did a second scan it was gone! We believe it was a miracle and we are praising God for that.
I am much more thankful that my precious grandson is well than for a silly old bathroom, but since I'd already posted, I thought I'd just leave it as is!
What are you thankful for today?
Rhondi xo
Added note: Christopher can't come home today after all, but I'm still thankful.
Good morning Rhondi, Your bathroom sounds heavenly to me. I love nature and your description of the view is delightful. I think bathrooms that cost thousands are soooo over rated.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful Thankful Thursday.
Hugs...Jeanne
Good morni ng Rhandi. That bathroom looks great but your bathroom with the view sounds much better
ReplyDeleteHi Rhondi,
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful it is to be able to go about our daily duties and look out side and enjoy the blessings that God has given us.
I would like to join Thankful Thursday with you. Thank you for sharing.
Blessings,
Sue
Rhondi...a bathroom with a private view of nature sounds fabulous! I am thankful for our old-timey bathrooms, especially when I remember my Grandmother's 2-holer down the path of her backyard...LOL
ReplyDeleteBlessings, ;-) Bo
I'm thankful for my bathroom's hot water. I just heard a story of a family of eight who had all of their water and electricty cut off because the family's business went under. This is in a very afluent neighborhood. Their next door neighbor is one of my friends, and she has an extension cord and her hose running over there for them. Other neighbors are helping, too. They don't want to leave their home, so they are making do. I pray they find decent jobs soon.
ReplyDeleteXO,
Sheila
Oh... I just noticed that I'm not on your list anymore... can you please add me again ?
ReplyDeleteThanks Rhondi :)

Dear Rhondi
ReplyDeleteToday is a special Thankful Thursday for you! I am sending my Very Best Wishes to sweet Christopher and hope he is feeling better!!
I am so happy to hear your grandson is okay. That is something to be so thankful for. It does sound like a miracle. Praise God for that!
ReplyDeleteI am thankful your Christopher is fine today ...............
ReplyDeleteI would love to join you on Thursdays!
ReplyDeleteNice bathroom eh? I wouldn't dare use it though, a bit impractical for 'real'. Imagine making a soap mark on that sink! We only have one bathroom as our house is very small and there's only 2 of us. But that's not to say I would turn up my nose if someone wanted to give it a luxury makeover.
ReplyDeleteGreat news that your grandson is on the mend.
love, Angie, xx
Rhondi, I just came back over to see if there were other participarnts I needed to visit, and I saw that story about your grandson!!! How did I miss that??? PRAISE GOD! That's wonderful news. God is the God of miracles. I'm so thankful for your grandson's healing.
ReplyDeleteXO,
Sheila
Hi Rhondi...Your imagining to want the bathroom in the picture is a very normal desire as it obviously suits your taste. You do however enjoy the bathroom you have as you can look at at all that wondrous nature. So smile!! :-) Maybe the picture can give you inspiration to do a couple of things in your bathroom that are similar!
ReplyDeleteI am grateful that Christopher is doing well! Once my pediatrician told me that childeren get sick fast and get better fast & I always found it to be true with mine. And never mind the nonsense of posting about a dream bathroom when your grandson was sick-hey, if we didn't have dreams life would be very dismal!! :-)
Again, thanks for hosting Thankful Thursday. I enjoyed participating in it for the 1st time!
xoxo

Hi Rhondi... dont worry that you had forgotten to add me again.
ReplyDeleteI was also busy over christmas and New Year, and did'nt get much blogging time.
Have a happy day
I hope that tomorrow Christopher will be able to return home.
ReplyDeleteOh Rhondi, 2 1/2 is so little to have to be in the hospital all week. How scary. It's nice to realize he probably won't remember this although I'm sure the rest of you will. I know you will also remember the gratefulness that you experienced when the antibiotics kicked in. Praise you, Lord Jesus!
ReplyDeleteLove to you, Kathy b
