My TO DO List

This is such a busy time of year and every year at this time we go on vacation for a week in Florida.  Every morning we walk on the beach and watch the birds.  There is a lot to be learned from them.  This one looked like it was scolding the other one who was paying no attention.  Seemed like he was wasting a lot of energy to no avail!  Do I do that?
These two were just relaxing enjoying the scenery and keeping each other company.  I need to do more of that!
While the one continues to scold the others paid no attention.  In the midst of everything one was asleep.  Do I have enough sense to relax when I need to even though others around me don't need to?

So while most of you are busy this week with shopping and baking and decorating and entertaining I am relaxing.

Here is my TO DO list:
walk on beach
swim in pool
read
watch sunset

Gee I sure hope I hope I can get it all done!!

Even though you can't walk the beach or swim in the pool or even find the time to read a book, maybe you can take 5 minutes at the end of the day to look to the sky, relax for a few minutes and watch the sun as it sets for the day.

By the way, the other day Giorgina from Decor Medley asked if she could interview me for her website. I was very honored and the interview is up there now.

  1. Now, that is a To Do list I would love to follow. It is amazing when you watch children or wildlife and see how simple life really is...have a great time this week!

I am going to check out your interview!

  2. Made dinner last night and it was a total disaster. (Tuna steak, broiled and icky, brussel sprouts with sun dried tomotes- burned.)

Maybe I should go to Florida and watch the birds instead.

    Or, hire a cook?

    Sweet pics.

  3. I like that to-do list! Perhaps one year we'll take your example and go for a pre-Christmas holiday - great idea!

  6. Rhondi,

That's a wonderful list. Let's see, I am on vacation starting Saturday, but I'll have to improvise. I'll:
Walk the road beside our creek, bundled up.
Take a long soak in our Jacuzzi tub.
Download a new book to my Kindle.
Watch a sunset (if the clouds will allow)

Thanks for the inspiration and enjoy your vacation!

  9. I hope you are having a wonderful time, it certainly sounds like you are! I would find it hard to feel Christmasy in the warm sunshine though after our Michigan winters:>) I am off to read your interview.
