I showed you this collage before but I just love it. It is my beautiful grandchildren who are on their way here as I write this. I am thankful that there was no damage to their house or property during Hurricane Ike. Since they have no power and don't know when it's going to be restored they have decided to come and stay with us for a while.
So today I am thankful that they were safe and that they are coming to visit us! You might not hear from me until after they leave.
There are a couple of new bloggers joining us this week for Thankful Thursday. Just click on the daisy at the right to see a list of participants.
What are you thankful for today?
Rhondi xo

ReplyDeleteI don't have grandchildren yet. But, I do remember how much fun it was when my children were young and we would all go to my mother's house. I also remember when I was young and we would all go to my nana and Papa's or to my grammy's. They are precious memories. And, I am so glad that they were all O.K. during Ike.
ReplyDeleteMay I join you today in a Thankful Thursday post.

I am thankful I found your blog to visit. I think your picture is just darling. What cute little people. Have a wonderful time with them. Something good comes out of everything. I hope someone watches their house to be sure it is ok when the power comes on. In Ohio, there have been fires from people not knowing what they left on. Have fun.

Hi Rhondi, I love the photo collage of the children, you have such wonderful resources of blue and white (and wonderful grandkids). I'm from England and want to ask... what are the glorious flowers in the field? They look like lupins but I'm guessing they are wild flowers. I love them. Have fun! Eli

We don't have hurricanes or earthquakes here in Brazil to be afraid of, but we do have the violence that scares a lot... I thank God everyday for keeping my family safe too.
