Marty is having a Cloche Party today. Until I started blogging, I always thought a cloche was something you put over tender plants to protect and give them a head start growing. I've since discovered there are many uses for a cloche. So here is my contribution to the party.
A blue and white teapot filled with lily of the valley at my bedside. Some sparkles in the bathroom.
And you've heard of pheasant under glass, well this is teddy bears under glass.
I haven't had these cloches too long. Can't wait to see what fun things I can use them for at Christmas. Click here and it will take you to Marty's party.
Rhondi xo
** I don't think these are cloches. A cloche should have a little knob on the top but I wanted to join the party !!
They looks wonderful. I've had our wedding cake topper under a "dome" for many years. Back then, they weren't called cloches.
ReplyDeleteMaybe, I need another one. ;-)
Love the "sparkle" looks great with the silver baubles! :-)
ReplyDeleteI love what you've done with your cloches:>) I think my favorite is the blue and white teapot...or the sparkles. But those teddy bears are darn cute too!
ReplyDeleteYou came up with some pretty ideas for using a cloche. I better go out to the garden and wash it up to use one of your ideas!
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend,
Carolyn
What super ideas. I love all the pretty displays. The sparkle is sooooo pretty and I love the bears. Thanks so much for joining the party. This is just too much fun. Hugs Marty
ReplyDeleteAll pretty - especially the one with the "bing". :)
ReplyDeleteGlenda
Rhondi, I really like your blue and white teapot filled with flowers. How classic. and the shaker in the bathroom w/the sparkle was pure whimsy! Sue :-)
ReplyDeleteYou have given me some great ideas to try out...this would be great for the plants I have in our bathroom, to keep my hairspray off them! Way easier to clean the glass than the plant!
ReplyDeleteOh my! The "sparkle" display is really unique, creative and soooo beautiful. I've got to put that one in my "inspiration file." Thanks for sharing, Rhondi. :)
ReplyDelete"Teddy Bears Under Glass" ;) ;) ;)

Rhondi,
ReplyDeleteThe cloche over the tea pot is probably my favorite because I just love all of your blue & white tea things!! But I also really like the "Sparkle" cloche too. And the teddy bears are so sweet.
I guess you can just about change these around everday!!
I'm happy you joined and I had a chance to see what you were showing! :-)

Wonderful post Rhondi! I find myself wanting a cloche!! I loved all of yours and cannot pick a favourite!
ReplyDeleteI love the lily of the valley under that glass dome :-) It's my fave! Just beautiful. Wouldn't the plant die though enclosed like that? Sorry, my knowledge about plants and gardening is just so poor LoL
ReplyDeleteI can't pick a favorite here...they are all gorgeous! They, bears, the sparkle...oh I love the all! Nancy
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I love the sparkle!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a creative idea, the cloche party. And it doesn't matter if there is a knob or not, yours are lovely.
ReplyDeleteI think you could call them cloches if you want to. Love them all. The cloches seem to make what's in them so much more important. Mimi
ReplyDeleteGosh I love a cloche!! But who doesn't? I really like yours with the delft blue pot!
ReplyDeletelove, kelee
