Pssst...that’s the sound of spray paint. I bought these roosters on Saturday at a yard sale, for just $3 for all of them. I bought a can of spray paint, psssst…
And voila! a very elegant pair of roosters.
I put them on top of the china cabinet in the dining room and they look perfect there. They certainly don’t look like a pair of $3 roosters any more.
Too bad it isn’t that easy to transform ourselves!
In case you're wondering what happened to the smallest rooster, it didn't want to be a white rooster :)
It is a very dull day here today, the kind of day you need all the lights on in the house, a very lazy day. Hope you are enjoying your Saturday.
Rhondi xo

Rhondi, I agree they are so elegant now. Good find! I certainly do like getting little peeks at your lovely home. All the blue and white touches...your home is charming. I rarely think about painting things, but I'm learning from all you clever women out there. Thanks for sharing this idea. Hope you are having a great weekend. I posted my typical Pink Saturday post on my blog, but I also left one on the QCI blog. It spotlights some unusual Quimper pottery from the 30s. You might enjoy seeing it. ~ Sarah

ReplyDeleteBeautiful job Rhondi! Sorry the little Rooster did not want to cooperate :-) I love how all you gals can see the transformation. These Roosters turned out so elegant.
