September 22 is the first official day of fall and so we’re having a party to celebrate! I’m so glad you came to my party.
I baked an apple pie just for you.
I picked some dogwood branches. They are so pretty in the fall with the red berries on them.
It’s a very lovely day so I’ve set a table out on the front porch.
Got my pumpkin teapot.
These plates I got recently at GW have pumpkins on them.
And of course I have to have a blue and white pumpkin too!
Why don’t you have a seat in one of the rockers and I’ll serve you a nice big slice of pie.
If you are posting about your welcome fall party, please post first and then sign in with Mr Linky. Make sure that you link to the fall party post and not just your general blog. To do that, view your post and double click on the title. That will put the exact post as the URL. Then you can copy and paste the URL with Mr Linky.
Thanks for coming to my party. I know you are going to enjoy the other parties a lot. They’re expecting you!
Happy Fall!
Rhondi xo
What an inviting setting. I love your pumpkin plates and teapot and of course the gorgeous blue and white pumpkin. It is just so precious. Your porch looks so inviting. What a fabulous idea. I hope you get Mr. Linky working. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteRhondi, everything looks beautiful. You have a wonderful way of creating beauty which always feels warm and inviting.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could join in, but I have been without my computer for over a week. I purchased a new computer this morning, but it is going to take me a while to get everything installed. I have to go back to work tomorrow, and full day meetings for the next two days.
I will be back to visit all of the autumn beauty whenever I have a few minutes.
Thank you for sharing your kind heart with all of us.
oops - I think I should have waited until tomorrow!

ReplyDeleteI adore your pumpkin teapot! What a nice way to celebrate the beginning of autumn --with an apple pie. I'll be right over!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure your day will be much more pleasant for a porch party than mine...we were warned to expect 103degrees. Summer is not fading gracefully this year in our area.
How beautiful! Thank you for hosting such a wonderful welcome to Fall..
ReplyDeleteMay your joys and smiles be as plentiful as the Autumn leaves....
How pretty your fall pumpkin looks against the blue! Oh.. and I would love a piece of that apple pie! Thanks for hosting this party! Hugs!

You made my day! Very beautiful party!
Thanks!
Happy Fall to you!
Hi--didn't even realize that ceramic pumpkin was a teapot until you did a close up!! I can't believe all the blue and white pumpkin stuff you have found. This all looks so inviting , but since I can't have pie because of the gluten I SHALL be enjoying some crisp Mountain NC apples this week (hope, hope). Leaving today for the Mountains to celebrate fall--hope I have some internet access, but due to storms in that area we often don't. I may have to wait till I return to visit all the sites here--maybe I will get a break while packing today to check some out!! But I did do a quick post. Have a blessed Week!!
ReplyDeleteI love fall and enjoy looking at everyone else's fall inspirations!

Just starting the Fall transition at our place...this week is nutsy - our biennial quilt show set up is Friday & the show is 9/26-27...it may take awhile to visit everyone, but count me in on the fun! Does it count that I made 10 loaves of zucchini/apple bread??
ReplyDeleteRhondi - beautiful home for fall - you are so creative!
What a wonderful Fall Welcome! Thanks so much, everything looks just beautiful. I'm slowly putting a fall touch to every room, since we are still having a heat wave.:)
