I love it when there is finally something blooming in the garden and I can pick some flowers and bring them inside. One of the places I always like to have fresh flowers is the windowsill in my kitchen. Here is my flower block filled with hellebores.
I have quite a few little pottery pieces that are perfect for just one bloom and I line them up on the kitchen windowsill too. Every time I am at the kitchen sink I can enjoy them.
Another hellebore.
and a white one. The center is so interesting isn't it?
I like to have fresh flowers on the table in my studio when possible also.
More hellebores
and camellias.
I'm joining our charming hostess Mary at Little Red House as she hosts another Mosiac Monday. Make sure you visit Mary on Monday (it is still Sunday as I post this) and see many other beautiful collages.
I hope your week is off to a good start.

Oh I can't wait for some signs of spring here! The hellebores look much larger than I thought they were, I have always wanted to try them but I have heard they are hard to get established. The sun on your flowers is so beautiful:>)
ReplyDeleteOh how gorgeous. Now I would love to have something wonderful blooming in the yard. Stunning. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous!
ReplyDeleteWell, not in a mean way :)
But i long for bright spots of spring...
We are praying and keeping our hopes high...
Thank you for sharing little glimmers of the joy to come!
Your blooms are beautiful, and your vases lovely! Your mosaic purports spring, gorgeous! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your beautiful blooms. I love them in the glass ware. I have an Aunt who lives in N.C.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Gwen
I am ready for flowers, unfortunately, where I live is not....
ReplyDeleteLove your hellebores Rhondi. I like to line up tiny vases on my window sill too - so far I've picked a few daffodils from the garden, but bought more daffs and tulips from Trader Joe's again yesterday.
ReplyDeleteI was gardening for a couple of hours today - felt wonderful out there under the blue sky. Birds are singing profusely now.....I definitely think it almost Spring.
Hugs - Mary
Oh, how lucky you are. I check my yard every morning for signs of yellow, green & white, among the drab.

Your flowers are beautiful. Very nice arrangements.

Beautiful flowers beautifully displayed. SO glad you have signs of spring.
ReplyDeleteWe are enjoying watching our snow melt! As soon as there is bare ground, I get impatient to see something GROWING.
I'll have to be content with seeing buds appear on the trees, for now.
My sweet little hellebores have tried to bloom all winter, even with the snow for a blanket..
ReplyDeletehere in West Tennessee.
I loved visiting, such fun! Kerrie
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you have all of those blooms and we live in the same state!! Of course, my new home was not previously planted with bulbs or spring flowers. Something that we are going to have to do.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are beautiful!
So beautiful and what a joy for you to look at. Hellebores have to be one of my favourites but sadly it is too hot here to grow them. Thanks for sharing them with us.
ReplyDeleteChrissie
Hi Rhondi! Oh, what beautiful blooms you have! And I love the little pots you've placed them in.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Those are BEAUTIFUL! I've never seen them in gardens here, but need to investigate and hope they will grow in Zone 5. Thank you so much for sharing the spring blooms with us! ♥♪
ReplyDeleteWow there is a lot more spring at your house than mine! But it looks promising. Have a good week.
ReplyDeleteDotsie
Your hellebores are so pretty! I haven't had great luck with them but maybe I will try again.
ReplyDeleteSpring does look beautiful in N.C.
Enjoy!
Carolyn
I've got a few daffodils in bloom, but that's it. My camelias are still full of buds and I only have one hellebores plant with a couple of flowers on it. I might need to relocate it.
ReplyDeleteYour spring flowers are gorgeous! Love the delicate little burgundy "freckles' on the hellebores. I can't wait for spring to arrive here. Our last little patch of snow melted away this afternoon. We are completely snow free for the first time since Christmas Eve.!!
ReplyDeleteWe spent the night in Charlotte, N.C. 2 nights ago and it was showing signs of spring. Of course, the further north we traveled the next day, the more snow we seen. I am so looking forward to green again and beautiful daffodils popping through the flower beds. Your flowers are just beautiful!~Patti
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers! No sign, yet, of Spring at my house. I really like the Hellebores and I don't believe I've seen them in Colorado. I will have to investigate!
ReplyDeleteQuelles sont jolies ces premières fleurs.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers and lovely mosaics. What a great way to start the week.

I don't think I have heard of hellebore--whatever they are called! They are pretty. I haven't noticed much blooming here, but I have been stuck inside over the weekend. I will keep my eyes open as I go out today. I think the only thing blooming in my yard are pansies ;-)
ReplyDeleteI envy your hellebores. It will be a few weeks before I see the snow melt enough to see the leaves of mine. Oh well. Thanks for sharing yours. Valerie
ReplyDeleteRhondi,
ReplyDeleteJust found you and glad to follow you! I love your fresh flowers. Can't wait until mine start popping up their heads in Illinois. Stop by and visit me.
Robin
Rhondi I love your world of blue and pretty Spring blooms! Here in my world we are just getting sunkisses...with Spring just ahead!
ReplyDeleteIt was a delight meeting you through your blog!
We're enjoying camellias here, as well. I pictured some in my mosaic, too!
ReplyDeleteSo gorgeous! You have way more things growing than me. Hellebores are so beautiful. I've always wanted to grow them and just never got around to it.
