So I got some aqua spray paint and transformed this dark green table.
I rounded up some yellow books from another room and added the cute little bowl and birds that came from Anthopologie.
They look great on the freshly painted table.
Then I hung one of my quilts on the wall and voila!
When you come in our front door the colors of spring will welcome you.
Come on in and have a visit. Let me see what else can I paint around here?
Rhondi xo
Aqua and red has become my very favorite color combinations and your yellow really brings it alive...wonderful!!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Rhondi,

ReplyDeleteOh, my goodness! What is the pattern that you used for the applique tea pots. I have just the spot for a smaller version.

ReplyDeleteOh, this looks just fabulous. I love the table painted and the different quilt is gorgeous. The yellow books and bunnys just set things off. Next I can also see the table painted white. What a great piece. Hugs, Marty

ReplyDeleteRhondi...Wow! Love the color combination! It really pops out! What a pretty way to welcome guests into your home!~Patti
ReplyDeleteRhondi, I've been spring cleaning but haven't change anything out like this. I admire your ability to take something and paint it to change the look. I've got two wicker tables much like yours, one white and one dark green. Perhaps I should pull out the paint. :-)
ReplyDeleteI enlarged the photo of the quilt to get a better look. Love the detail of the border on this one. You do such amazing work. What quilt are you working on now?
I love the change in the table color and the quilt is perfect for spring!! Your talent and creativity is wonderful!

The yellow and aqua are fantastic together. You have quite the eye.
ReplyDeleteI began Spring Cleaning Yesterday. It's a chore, but I'm so happy when it's done.
One of the big jobs is swapping out all of our heavy winter clothes for spring things. Lots to be dry cleaned and even more to be washed. Then I have to clean out the storage closet and put it all away.
I have put out a few decorations for spring and Easter. I'll have to do a post about them.
what beautiful pops of color rhondi!!!
ReplyDeletei love the new look!!
I love your new spring entryway!I have also made the teapot quilt but it's not quilted yet. Yours turned out very pretty!

Rhondi, I love the blue table! Your quilts are gorgeous too! I like to spice things up when it turns warmer weather around here too! Don't know what I'm planning this year yet but it will be brighter for Spring!
ReplyDeleteI love your Spring quilt~ so welcoming & cheery.
ReplyDeleteYou know,I usually do "Winter Cleaning", since we're home more & I see all the clutter :-S
But this Spring, we're definitely doing a wholesale cleaning...since we're moving into our very own home in April!
Looking very good~the quilt is fabulous! I saw that someone else asked about the pattern. Would you share the name and company? It just fits right there! Thanks for sharing your make-over. ♥♪
ReplyDeleteOh Rhondi, how sweet of you to take the time to call in with a Mother's Day greetings. My sincere thanks. What a gift it is to be someone's mother, and in your case a grandmother also. I am just one week away from my son't wedding and preparations are now quite frantic. How I should have loved to join in your tea party fun this coming Tuesday but I fear this week I will sadly have to give to it a miss. Hopefully I will be dropping by in a couple of weeks. I'm really into colour myself just now and love the shades in your post. Like you, I love my blue and white but a palette of other bright colours lifts the soul. Eli x
ReplyDeleteI love your fresh new look. The table is beautiful...but I am especially fond of the quilt! Happy Spring!
ReplyDeleteYou will find a new object to paint, I'm pretty sure ... ;)
ReplyDeleteThe Spring corner looks great!
Hugs & have a nice week, Carolien
It looks wonderful, Rhondi! I like all the spring colors. I've been painting up a storm too...just finished a bureau and a table.
ReplyDeleteYes, I do some spring cleaning. Haven't started yet.
Hugs,

ReplyDeleteWhat a great transformation. I LOVE the new quilt you put up. It is just gorgeous, the colors and the design. Beautiful! All the colors are so lovely and refreshing. I wish I could do spring cleaning around here. But when dust storms are predicted for the weekend, it just isn't worth it. Have a great week. Many blessings, Tammy
ReplyDeleteRhondi, that looks so pretty!! I love that quilt! It's really got the perfect colors and feel for this time of year. Love that you changed the color of your table. I do that all the time too.
ReplyDeleteI'm not big on spring cleaning as I'm usually outside trying to get some gardening done before it gets too hot. But this year we've had so many rainy days that I've actually done some!
Manuela
Hi Rhondi! I love your teapot quilt! Did you design it? The fabrics are wonderful. My sister and I are going to a quilt show next week. We're both confirmed quilting nuts! Have a great day! Terri
