We had a delightful surprise this weekend. At the last minute, our son and his wife decided to come back and visit us for a couple of days on their way home to Texas. So we got to spend some more time with the best grandchildren in the world. What a blessing it was for us to see them twice this summer!
Needless to say I've done nothing for the past couple of days except play with them, so I haven't even looked at my blog, to see who has left a comment or been to visit any of you. I plan to stop by and visit all of you dear blogging friends over the next few days. I haven't forgotten you!
Decided to have a new banner for the new month. Those cupcakes in the previous one were a little stale! Sunflowers black eyed susans and daisies say "summer" to me.
See you soon.
Rhondi xo
So glad you got to enjoy your grandkids! Love the new banner!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Hugs!

ReplyDeleteI so understand your feelings about your surprise company. We love our children and a visit from them puts me in the happiest frame of mind. The grands are a bonus, too sweet to put in words. I am already thinking of my thankful post. Of course, it involves my grandchildren. Smile!
I will add your 'Thankful Thurs.' to my side bar.
Have a wonderful day, Jeanne

Absolutely super banner!
ReplyDeleteNo apologies necessary my friend!..."grandchildren" come before anything else!!!! I am so happy you got another visit!....I am spoiled since Andrew, my 4 year old grandson lives with us & has since he was born!...Even though there are days when I would like a bit more "me" time...I thank God everyday to be able to watch him grow right in front of our eyes! & to see what a wonderful mother my daughter has become....enjoy your evening!...heidi Xo
ReplyDeleteHi Rhondi
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you had a great time with your grandchildren.
What a great banner- Sunflowers are my absolute favorite flower- they seem like that are smiling. What a gorgeous pitcher _I have blue plates and dishes that have sunflowers that are my everyday ware.
Thanks for brightening my day..

Anna
