I am also thankful for all the friends I've made through blogging.
Remember when you first started your blog and how exciting it was when you began to get a few comments? Well, actually it's still exciting isn't it?I've recently met two girls who are new to blogging: Mimi Sue has a lovely new house with a great front porch in an old historic neighborhood. I'll have to make sure she joins our front porch party next year. Sue, collects blue and white dishes. We are instant kindred spirits! I'm sure they would love it if you stopped by.
Don't forget to click on the daisy on the right to visit others who are posting today for thankful Thursday. So what are you thankful for today!

A lovely post Rhondi, it is the little things that add up to joy. Your blog looks prettier and prettier every time I stop by. I have written my Thankful Thursday post, so stop by. Happy Thankful Thursday. Blessings, Karen
ReplyDeleteI love that you mentioned the goldfinch and goldfish. I love watching some of the "everyday" critters. It's amazing how many people never stop to really look at nature. You seem to have tuned into the small but important things in life (including your husband's newspaper -- cute).
ReplyDeleteMy post is up.
Hi, Rhondi! Sounds like you're having a sweet Thursday here counting your blessings! :o) Today I was musing on being thankful for friends too--blog friends among them. I've been blogging over two years now, and am still amazed by it all, and the every growing circle of friendships and connections made. Each and every comment still excites me as much as the very first ones! Thanks for sharing abour your new friends today. I'm so glad to count you among my friends, and always look forward to visiting here! I hope in a few weeks to join in again on Thankful Thursdays...but will be visiting in the meantime! Happy Day ((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteI have just managed to join in Thankful Thursday with you all! I was reminded of the day by Tracey at Pink Purl and felt disappointed that I would not make it. Today is hectic! But I did! Thank you, Rhondi, for inspiring us.
ReplyDeleteRhondi,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the introduction, today I'm thankful for grace, because wihout grace we would be lost and thankful for new friends, I have made in the blogging world. SMILE and have a good day.

I am thankful for the rain we've gotten the past few days. It was much needed.

Yes, I very much recall that feeling. Still have it too! And I remember who the very first comment was from. Still keeping up with her. Made so many friends through this blogging community. It has so enriched my life every single day!

Hello Sweet Rhondi!
ReplyDeleteWhat precious things you are thankful for today! The newspaper & your hubby touched me. How we love our husbands and sometimes never want life to change. I bet he even had his legs crossed while reading! Sweet moments.
One "blue" down and the other half down! hee, hee! Now off to visit your new friends!
Hugs,
Maryjane
Wow Rhondi! Thanks for mentioning my new blog. It is so fun to get to know you after lurking for so long. I so love what you have done in your home. The yellow, blue and red in your kitchen are so darn cute. LOVE those colors together. Our houses would be best friends if we were closer! Thanks again. Mimi
ReplyDeleteHi Rhondi!

I am totally in love with your blue post showing the blue in your garden...it's exquisite. My hubby always says I plant way too much purple...won't he be surprised when next year its all blue! You've inspired me to add lots of that color!
Just wanted you to know I love your "spot"
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!
I am so thankful to be able to walk a 1/2 mile without hurting!

Happy Thursday to you. I too am thankful the weather is beautiful right now. I was telling Heidi, some leaves are actually falling from our tree in the front yard. The air is off and the doors are open. Have a great day.
