Thankful Thursday

This morning I took this picture of some of the morning glories that are blooming. Then when I tried to do my Thankful Thursday post the internet was down. It's finally working again, so better late than never. Don't forget that you can click on the daisy at the right side to link up to others who also are poeting what they are thankful for too.I am thankful that today when my little 2 year old grandson went to the specialist for his appointment regarding his allergies and asthma, that the doctor said there was definite improvement.

What are you thankful for today?

  1. Hi Rhondi, I'm so glad you grandson is OK with his allergies. I had to catch up on your post and love the change you did in your living room and dinning room, they are beautiful. I need to get brave and add more color. Love it.
You are very talented in quilting.

  4. Glad to hear the good news about your grandson.
I'm so glad I found your blog; this idea of stopping to actually think about what we are thankful for is wonderful. I find myself thinking all during the week "this is something I should write about on Thankful Thursday". It has really made me more aware of my blessings!

  13. Hello Rhondi,
My name is Helen, and I have today somehow stumbled upon your blog for the first time, so thought I would introduce myself.
It is great to read that you are a Christian with grown-up children and grandchildren, just like me! Something for me to identify with because I was beginning to feel as if I was the oldest person in blog-land. I haven't been blogging for long, as real novice, but enjoy reading so many of the interesting blogs out there, and I shall add yours to my favourites list.

  14. Hi Rhondi,
So sorry I have been away. I did think of you and my many blogger friends. Life has been difficult with my DH being in the hospital and taking so much expensive medicines. He is currently $2.11 from the Medicare Blue Cross donut hole.
We have been told that he needs to put in $4010. of his own money to get out of this donut hole. I am thankful that his specialist has given him 2 of his meds to take him through October. One is $460per month and the other is $319./month.

BTW, So glad you had good news regarding your grandson's allergies.
I will try to visit you more often, I love the beauty and the music you have added, so soothing and calms me down as my playlist.

  15. Hi Rhondi,
Your home looks so fresh with all the blue and red! Would you concider coming home to me to clean up a bit?..just joking! No matter how I pick up toys and clothes it takes about ten minutes and it´s the same mess again...sigh. Guess that´s why I have a blog: I can clean up a corner and take a beautiful photo, while it´s a mess all around...and of course I can visit all other beautiful homes to get inspired!
Glad Your grandson is doing better!

    hugs
    Liisa

  24. I really, really love morning glories! There was a very rough period in my life when I was a little girl, but every morning when I woke up and looked out my window, I'd see the lovely morning glories growing on the fence and it would cheer me so much!
