A Little Bit of Fall

Fall is really here now: cool mornings, leaves changing color, pumpkins appearing everywhere. Time to bring a little bit of fall inside. I filled a beautiful old teapot with berries.and arranged it with a nice "bittersweet" garland I bought on sale at Michaels and draped it along the mantle.

Just a little bit of fall in the house.
Hope you are experiencing a beautiful fall where you live too. Bring some inside!

  2. Rhondi that looks so lovely. What kind of berries are those? Every day another tree seems to start getting color. We went for a walk at a local State Forest this evening and there was one maple tree that was ablaze with orange.

  9. Such lovely and elegant fall touches for your mantle. I love Autumn, I took a ride to see my mother in South Burlington Vermont. The leaves were spectacular along the drive. We had our first frost last night. Karen

  12. We're not seeing too much color here yet, but it won't be long. I hope we can take a drive over to the mountains in a few weeks.

Your mantel looks great. I need to "season" mine up a bit.

  18. It is very much autumn in Holland. We are having a wonderful season here so far. A cold sunny day mixed off with a rainy grey day full of sitting indoors with candles, a warm quilt and some needlework. Just perfect!

I love your mantle Rhondi! The combination of items is so pretty together. Isn't this just a great season to decorate for???
