Thanksgiving # 3

Yesterday I bought these pansies.
I am thankful to live in a place where I can plant pansies now and have flowers to pick all winter.

 I can enjoy them here.

and here.
I am going to plant them tomorrow afternoon.  If you'd like to come and help me I'll make us a nice hot cup of tea and there might just be some homemade cookies to munch on!

  2. I'm another one who hasn't yet planted my winter pansies - perhaps this weekend.

  4. Rhondi, I need to buy some pansy plants now that it is getting cooler. A few years ago a friend gave me a pansy ring. I'd never seen one before. It is a shallow dish specifically to hold pansy blooms. Do you know about these? I also have littly possy vases that I use for pansies.
Thanks for the reminder. I'm going to go get some plants today. ;-)

  5. I planted some more pansies yesterday and also felt thankful that we have such a long season to enjoy them. I rarely think to bring them inside to enjoy in vases. After seeing yours, I will be doing that for sure. They look lovely.

  6. Your pansies are so pretty and that is something I didn't plant before we left. The neighbors like to look at them while we're gone.

  7. I love pansies and planted several before heading to the coast - in the ground, window box, and in the large pots on top of Spring bulbs. Love, love pansies - the little faces, colors, and the way they survive the coldest Winters and then bloom profusely in Spring. Yours are pretty Rhondi. I also bought lots of Violas as they spread so well and fill in the gaps!

  8. I love pansies, they have a charm that few flowers can match. I also love the little Johnny Jump Ups.

  9. These are so lovely. My pansies form the summer finally expired and I haven't seen any more for sale. Ah well, it would be a very short season for them anyway. I'll just enjoy yours:>)
