Thanksgiving #8

Today I am thankful for the flowers still blooming in our garden.  We haven't had a hard frost yet.  I am specially thankful for this beautiful white anemone, Honorine Flaubert.  I bought it 3years ago and the deer ate all the buds 2 years in a row, so this is the first time I have seen it bloom!

These Chrysanthemums are so beautiful too. I showed them to you before, but I just had to show them again because they have turned such beautiful colors, even being spotted with dark pink in spots.

I have written  500 posts and didn't even know it.  On my dashboard it says 497 posts but in my archives I have 504!    I am coming up to my third year blogiversary at the end of the month so I'll have a big celebration for both occasions then!

Hope you have a great day!

  1. I enjoyed looking at these beautiful flowers as ours here in Virginia are gone for now. How can we not be thankful for flowers that make our world a more beautiful place...Joan

  2. Your flowers are beautiful! We did have a freeze so no more flowers. My lettuce and broccoli are doing fine though!

    Looking forward to your celebration!

  3. Rhondi, congratulations on over 500 posts. That's amazing! And each one is always full of beauty. I always enjoy my visits to Rose colored Glasses. Your blooms are indeed cheerful. I don't have much blooming, so I planted cyclamen plants yesterday. I used mostly white, but tucked in a few of the bright pink along with the ornamental cabbages. Loving the look!
    Happy Thanksgiving! ~ Sarah

  4. Congratulations on your posts and your great blog. You are always one of my favorite places to visit. I just wish I had time to visit everyone more often.

Your blooms are wonderful. I still have a few rose blooms, but I suspect they are the last for the season.

  6. 500 posts! And I've enjoyed them so much --even though I don't often say so. Your flower photos are beautiful this morning, a nice spot of beauty as our sky is "gathering up" for a big ol' winter storm here.

  8. Congratulations on 500 posts. I think I have read each and every one and enjoyed them all. Your flowers are still looking lovely. I have been on vacation for a few weeks and feel out of touch with what's happening in NC. Glad to know that I'll be coming home to flowers still in bloom.
