Thanks to all you dear friends for your kind concerns for my husband's surgery for carpal tunnel.. Everything went well and he is on the mend. It will be a bit of a challenge when he goes back to work on Monday since he uses the computer all day long and he had to wear a big bandage on his right hand for the whole week!
Hi Rhondi,
ReplyDeleteSorry I missed your post yesterday! I am so glad to hear that your husband is recovering well from his surgery! He does have a wonderful smile!
Hugs,
Penny
Great news Rhondi :) Jenn and Jacqui
ReplyDeleteHi Rhondi - get well wishes to your dh - glad to know his surgery went well.
ReplyDeleteYou are correct - those dishe are An Englishwoman's Country Diary. I have the entire set for 8 plus serving pieces which I purchased back in the eighties when I received a raise at work - a treat to myself! Of course I have Edith's diarie, and books about her too - and I've done some cross stitch pieces of her Nature scenes. Seemed only fitting being an Englishwoman myself!!
As for your amazing quilt - Blue Plate Special - that's one of the prettiest I've ever seen - just love it. You are so talented.
The warm weather is coming back to NC - guess we shouldn't complain when we see what's happening on the West Coast.
Best wishes to you and DH! I hope he mends quickly!

Hi Rhondi,
ReplyDeletethank you for your comments..
We live in Guildwood for over 20 years and during our time the neighborhood has changed a lot. Small houses are demolished and replaced by big ones. I call them Guildwood Casa Loma's:-))
But we love to live here...
Please come back and enjoy your old neighbourhood.
cheers from Guildwood

Hope your husband is doing fine. He has to be careful when putting any pressure or weight on his hand after the bandages are removed.
Hi Rhondi, thanks so much for visiting my blog, I am so glad you did, I hadn't yet discovered yours. How I love quilts and blue, I am going to love looking through your past posts. Wish I could now, but I am busy out in the garden, catching fair weather while I can, and supposed to be making my man a cup of tea. I do hope your hubby is making a speedy recovery, I know very well what pain can be caused by using a PC, I have used a keyboard every day at work for well over 25 years and occasionally suffer from wrist pain, but thankfully not bad enough to have had surgery! All the best to you both. x
ReplyDeleteI am home from my weekend and Cranberry Cottage and had to stop in and see if there was any news. I am so glad that all is well and DH is recovering well. I hope he won't try to overdo it at work on Monday.
ReplyDeleteDid it stay cold there this weekend? I hope you stayed cozy and warm indoors with a nice hot cup of tea?
Hugs ~
Heidi
