Good morning my friends
I'm glad you stopped by. As many of you know I have decided to make every Thursday "Thankful Thursday" so this morning I was trying to decide which of the many many things I am thankful for that I should write about today. The thing I am thankful for is such a simple thing that I take for granted every day:
I AM THANKFUL I CAN SEE.
I can see the beautiful smiles on my grandchildren's faces, sunsets and sunrises, wonderful colors everywhere, the beauty of nature. Because I can see, I can drive a car, go to the movies, watch TV, ( not sure if it's worth being thankful for) make a quilt, read a magazine, have fun decorating my home, give a smile to someone who looks sad, and see my husband's smiling face, no matter how stressful his day has been, as he comes home each night...
This is such a small list. I could fill the page, but you would probably stop reading long before I finish! If you have a blog, why not make your Thursday a thankful one too. Together we could spread thankfulness all around the globe.
What are you thankful for today? I'd love to know!
Rhondi xo
You are so right. The gift of sight......even if it's through high powered lenses....is such a great gift to be Thankful for. I love your "Thankful Thursdays".

A lovely post Rhondi, nice to meet someone who can appreciate the smaller things in life, life is sometimes so easy to take for granted, your post today makes us realise how much a smile can make a difference to someones day, funny we (hubby and I) were just talking about that before I opened your page, yes eyesight is so precious, and for today it let me read your blog, that has made my day!....thanks for sharing your thoughts with us, from a hormonly emotional , for today anyway, woman...tomorrow I shall be all in a different frame of mind, hopefuly!...bloomin menopause!!!!
ReplyDeletelove from Kathx...
My job -- as tired as it makes me, and the hours it takes away from my family, my home and my quilting--it will put my kids through college and support my quilting habits... and life will get easier..and spring time is around the corner---it's 11 below zero right now....
ReplyDeleteI am thankful for my hands and creativity. I think it is a wonderful thing to be able to create or do something with your hands. Whether it is for us or as a gift for another, creating gives me joy!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thursday dear Rhondi!
Hugs ~

Hi Rhondi, I am so thankful that my husband is so good to me, could not cope without him lately.
ReplyDeleteGuy is doing well, I still worry.
He is now weaned off the bottle, thankfully! he has his milk feeds every 4-5 hours now, maybe the odd small one in-between - he has taken well to solids, very watery though. He is not as fat as his brother and sister. They are doing well now, so 3 pups out of 7! we hope.
I am going to try an do a post tomorrow.
Hugs,
Carol xx
