A Little Piece of Quiet

Good morning
This is what I read this morning. Maybe it will encourage you today.

Difficulty is the very atmosphere for a miracle- it is a miracle in its first stage. If it is to be a great miracle, the condition is not difficulty but impossibilty. Is your situation seemingly impossible? Then it is the perfect environment for a miracle to occur. I believe in miracles . Do you?

This morning I was just feeling the need for some peace and serenity in my house, so I gathered a few white things from around the house and grouped them together to make something more soothing than the usual color I have everywhere. My viburnum macrophyllia decided to flower so I picked some of those. The white cow pitcher is the ideal container.
I added this little pitcher that was a yard sale find earlier this year.
added a white cow creamer..
With the white birdcage and a pretty little linen cloth it makes a lovely peaceful grouping.
Hope you can find a little piece of quiet in your day today.

  3. Oh yes, I do believe in miracles. And, I feel that I have been the recipient of many.

White always brings me peace. I have a lot of shades of white in our home.

  9. What a lovely post. I know those feelings when quiet and simple colour is soothing. The time for quiet background music, much like what I'm listening to right now on your blog. "What a Wonderful World"...it makes for very good reflecting.

I believe in miracles and that things happen for a reason...I believe in trying to be in the now even in a busy world...and watching out for those miracles...and feeling happiness at recognizing it.

  15. Thanks Rhondi for believing in MIRACLES. God is so wonderful and HE knows exactly what our purpose is and why we are here. The fun part is finding HIS purpose for ourselves.
God knows I am in the process of receiving a miracle. I am in the process of waiting for it.
    God Bless You,
    Sister Friend

  16. Oh, yes, so tranquil! I love the whites. Your shiny tile and ceramic pitchers make a nice contrast in texture with the big, soft flowers.
