Today I am thankful that I get to spend all next week in Texas with our grandchildren. They are so precious and it is such a joy to be with my son, our daughter-in-law and our grandkids. I'll also get to go to the Houston Quilt Show while I'm there too. What a treat!
If you click on the daisy on my sidebar you will see a list of others who are joining in with Thankful Thursday.
What are you thankful for today?

Rhondi,
ReplyDeleteI recently found your blog and I had to let you know how much I have enjoyed the sweet visits. We have many things in common.....I have 3 grandchildren and one more due in December so I have been busy making another quilt for this little one. Love those babies!!! Have a great trip and treasure all the hugging time with your little ones.
Hugs, B.

P.S. - I just posted a bunch of my scarecrow collection if you would like to show them to your grands!
Hi Rhondi,
ReplyDeleteI haven't visited for awhile and enjoyed getting caught up on your site. I'm so glad you made the red quilt pic your top banner. Every time I see it, I just drool over it. Is that pattern in a book or is it an indiviual pattern? Would love to know if you don't mind.
Enjoy every minute with your Grandbabies next week. I know I cherish every minute I get to spend with mine. : )

I'll be at quilt festival too. It's hard to believe that I've been to almost 30 of them! My first was with my 29 year old in a tummy pack; it was held at a church; soon it got bigger and bigger. I LOVE looking at the quilts; I don't usually have time for the merchants but this year I'm going 3 days instead of 1.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a very happy week with your grandchildren. On this Thursday I was thankful for a day off from work! x
ReplyDeleteI would love to join your Thankful Thursday this week. Thanks Denise
