Fall is really here now: cool mornings, leaves changing color, pumpkins appearing everywhere. Time to bring a little bit of fall inside. I filled a beautiful old teapot with berries.
and arranged it with a nice "bittersweet" garland I bought on sale at
Michaels and draped it along the mantle.
Hi Rhondi!
ReplyDeleteYour mantle looks so warm and lovely! Fall is really here!! The weather has changed in Ohio to cool days and crispy nights.
Have a great week!
Hugs, Sherry
Rhondi that looks so lovely. What kind of berries are those? Every day another tree seems to start getting color. We went for a walk at a local State Forest this evening and there was one maple tree that was ablaze with orange.

Penny
Rondi, Fall is on the way here too. Cool mornings and evenings and the trees are just beginning to turn color.
ReplyDeleteYour mantel looks so pretty. I love the bittersweet...hugs, Linda
Love your little bits of fall Rhondi, and I must say I am so glad you put your background colour back to yellow. The red was making my eyes hurt!!! Happy Tuesday, hope it is a find day for you just chock full of blessings! XXOO

Such lovely and elegant fall touches for your mantle. I love Autumn, I took a ride to see my mother in South Burlington Vermont. The leaves were spectacular along the drive. We had our first frost last night. Karen
ReplyDeleteLove your fall trimmings, so warm and cozy. And, I like that version of "Wonderful World", it's one of my fav songs, and I like the way Sammy Kershaw does it!
ReplyDeleteHi Rhondi! you did a beautiful Job! I love the wispy way they drape the mantel and the berries look gorgeous in that tea pot too! so warm and cozy!

We're not seeing too much color here yet, but it won't be long. I hope we can take a drive over to the mountains in a few weeks.
ReplyDeleteYour mantel looks great. I need to "season" mine up a bit.
Your fall decor is really nice. the deer are sure cute. Bet they like having those berries to nibble on when you are not around.
ReplyDeleteHave a great fall day.
Nancy
I wondered what the berries were too.
ReplyDeleteRhondi, you are a wonderful decorator. This is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAnd how welcome you would be! come for tea anytime...=)
ReplyDeleteIt's my first visit but you'll be on my favorites list. I like your posts, and I love your music.
ReplyDeleteIt is very much autumn in Holland. We are having a wonderful season here so far. A cold sunny day mixed off with a rainy grey day full of sitting indoors with candles, a warm quilt and some needlework. Just perfect!
ReplyDeleteI love your mantle Rhondi! The combination of items is so pretty together. Isn't this just a great season to decorate for???
Hugs ~
Heidi
Those photos are so pretty. For some reason, I really like the books and berries. It reminds me of one of my favorite magazine photos. I'll try to post it sometime and stop by to show you.
ReplyDeleteP.S. And thanks for the idea. I have some deer that are very similar and always wait until Christmas to display them....but why wait???
