Spray paint is one of the greatest inventions for DIYers. It gives an instant makeover and it's so easy to do.
I like tables that have interesting legs. They are very difficult to paint with a brush but are a snap with spray paint. Imagine the hassle of painting these legs with a brush.
They are nesting tables beside my hubby's chair in our TV room.
I love theses spindles on the side of this table. Using a brush...forget it!
This little table looks so cute in our guestroom alongside the quilt and pillows I made for the bed.
Is there anything around your home that needs a fresh coat of paint? There is probably something. If you've never tried spray paint, give it a go. You'll never look back.
I discovered that there is another blogger, named Kathleen at Faded Charm who has been hosting White Wednesdays for 33 weeks and so I've decided there is no need for me to start another one. If you had joined me last week please go over and see Kathleen and link with her from now on. I'll probably do the same.
It might be fun to do a spring spray painting party! What do you think?
Good idea to both ideas. And, what about drips with spray painting, especially on spindles? Do you use a brush too to catch them? Or spray very lightly again and again?ReplyDelete
Spray Paint For Wicker should be the name of a TV show! I LOVE spray paint too!ReplyDelete
I use one of those contraptions that clips onto the top/nozzle and I never get drips or a dirty finger!!!
Love the tables, especially the blue. I have a small book stand from my childhood (60+ yrs, because it was there before I was born!) I think the spray paint is just what it needs. It needs to come out of its hiding place.ReplyDelete

Love both tables Rhondi! I do love spray paint. I wish it came in more colors.ReplyDelete
Both tables came out beautifully. I love spray paint...it's a girl's best friend!ReplyDelete
Oh love the red table!ReplyDelete
Couldn't live without spray paint. Just wish they would do more colors. Like your red table. My favorite color.ReplyDelete
That little red table is so cute, I love to spray paint things! My hubby is a meticulous painter and he likes the brush! CindyReplyDelete
I spray paint as much as I can too!. I agree with you the legs are always the hardest to paint. I love your red table in your guest room!!. Your home is so pretty, I always enjoy my visit with you.
Take care and have a wonderful day creating.
Rhondi, your tables look so pretty. Do you have to use sanding paper before you spray? I'm looking around my house for something to spray paint! laurieReplyDelete
I have several things that need spray painting. I'm looking for that warm day to get started. I love all your tables, especially the red.ReplyDelete
Sign me up for the spray paint party -- except that I'll have to photograph everything in my house! It's a favorite of mine, and like Penny, I wish it came in more colors. I love your bright, cheerful tables!ReplyDelete
I have never used spray paint before. How do you keep from getting it all over things you don't want painted?ReplyDelete
Can you tell me what color "red" you used for the table and what brand?
Love, LOVE the way both your tables turned out Rhondi! But I am loving most of all that one glimpse I can see of a quilt next to the blue nesting tables. How very Mary Englebreit!! I do love Mary so very much! You have inspired me with colour, once again! xxooReplyDelete
Rhondi dear - catching up on your news and hoping life is getting better. I was so sorry to hear of John's accident - but thankful to learn he wasn't injured.ReplyDelete
Meanwhile you are staying busy I see - yes, almost time to get loaded up with spray cans and get outside and paint!!
My life has been really busy since learning I will be off on such a huge adventure. There are so many things to organize it seems - next week I'll be getting all the necesssary immunizations (ugh!).
Stay warm dear - still chilly around here. I'm thankful the new storm is not going to hit here today - those poor people further North!!!
I agree, spray paint is so efficient and is often the only way to go for a quick efficient paint job on hard to paint areas like spindles. Love the red table.ReplyDelete
Susan and Bentley
When you painted your table and chairs white, did you sand them first or just prime. I am thinking about painting mine.
I'm lovin' how that lovely little red table pops next to your beautiful Americana bed set. The blue is pretty too but I'm a fan of the red. Yep, love the spray!ReplyDelete
I just wanted top pop over and see what ya'll were up to.
You have the best day filled with blessings from above!!!
Your tables look great. I never painted a table at all, brush or spray. You did a good job and make it look easier than I bet it is.ReplyDelete
I agree, I couldn't live without spray paint! Love how your little tables look. So pretty!ReplyDelete
I love spray paint, too. It's the perfect thing for painting tinware. I even did an old wicker rocker with it. Your tables look fabulous. That red one is a knockout! Hugs, TerriReplyDelete
You are so right, I would never paint another chair if I had to do it all with a brush! Golly but I love that red table!ReplyDelete
Your tables look beautiful! I especially LOVE the red one! It looks great with the flowers and the quilt. Love it!
All the best,
Rhonda, Your home is SO beautiful! I love to see your things. Your guestroom looks like something out of a magazine. Oh that 'cherry' pillow! =)ReplyDelete
Your table looks so cute red! Yes, a spray paint party would be fun but it's waaay too cold her right now to go outside and paint plus it's wet.ReplyDelete
I'm crazy about your wonderful tables! I agree, what would we do without spray paint? :)ReplyDelete
Hope all is well with you! Dana
Rhondi, if you don't mind me asking, what brand and color was the red paint for the night stand? It is adorable, and I too can't live without it either - spraying that is! :>)ReplyDelete
It is Rustoleum. I think they only have one color red. It was actually for metal so it took a lot longer to dry. Thanks for visiting :)
