What Is It?

There’s a new chicken who’s come to live at our house. No it’s not me. I’ve been around for a long time.

What does Rhondi need with another chicken? Aren’t there enough of us? She’s got me to hold soups and casseroles.
DSC07940
Are you a pitcher? Because if you are we don’t really need you here because that is my job.
DSC07947
Have you guys seen the new chicken?
DSC07950
Well we know it’s not salt and peppers because that’s our job.

Here she comes so let’s make her feel welcome. DSC07944
She seems very proud of those colorful tail feathers.DSC07918
Yes, very proud

Well this new chicken must be of some use because Rhondi never buys anything unless it’s useful.
Do you know what this chicken is?

  3. Very, very cute! I'd guess measuring spoons too, but then wouldn't they chip easily? Some sort of serving spoons, or individual deviled egg holders?

  9. I have to agree with everyone, It has to be some kind of measuring cups or spoons. I love your chickens. The red plaid one is so unique. They are all so sweet. And you can tell them that I said so.

  19. So cute, Rhondi! You should do something like this with photos and your chickens and write a children's book! I think they are some sort of spoon but they can't be too wide for the holes they must come out of!

  24. Please, I begging you. Tell me what the chicken is! I flunked home economics and was kicked off the cheerleading squad.

I like to think of myself, not as stupid, rather- as "kitchenly challeneged."
