Thankful Thursday

Hi

This Thursday I am thankful for life: to be able to breathe, walk, talk, hear, see, smell, feel. To have life and health.
I take it all for granted.
Life is a wonderful thing.
This is me on the left, my sister in the middle and my husband on the right as we enjoy a walk on the beach. It is so easy to enjoy life when we are away from our daily life.
I am determining to enjoy life in the everyday mundane part of it.
Abraham Lincoln said "In the end it's not the years in your life, it's the life in your years"
Jesus said "I have come that you might have life in abundance"

Today I am thankful for LIFE.
What are you thankful for today?

  3. Hello Rhondi - I'm catching up and see I've missed a lot!
First, the photo of your parents is wonderful. My parents married while both were in the RAF during WW2 - my father didn't fly. My mother was underground in southern England 'plotting' enemy aircraft as they crossed the English Channel. If you ever watch any WW2 movies you can sometimes see the 'ops room' and the young women doing this job! Thank goodness your father survived imprisonment - I know you must have always been so proud of him serving your country during those terrible times.

Love your flower pics - could the little yellow flower be the celandine?

Wow, nice walk on the beach there - is it Myrtle? Glad you were able to get away - the ocean is always so envigorating, especially in the Winter when its majesty seems so powerful.

Blessings for the weekend - I too will be thankful for all the wonder in my life.

  5. Hi Rhondi! I am thankful that it is a normal day. I just baked a fresh load of Irish soda bread for lunch and I am cleaning a little while packing for our weekend. So life as normal. There is nothing better you can say to people who ask how things are. Don't you think?

Have a wonderful weekend and perhaps stop in to tell me what your plans are for this weekend.....

    Hugs ~
