Let's Go For a Bike Ride

Would you like to come for a bike ride.  I'm going in search of peacocks!

Where we are vacationing in Florida there is a  neighborhood where many peacocks just wander
about freely.

There are lots of cute little houses there too.

With white picket fences.

Here is a peacock preening himself.

Some cottages have porches.

This porch is wonderful.

I like this blue one and the yellow shutters are cute.

Here is a male and female.

I love this little blue cottage with the yellow door hidden behind the foliage.

These folks are definitely into the Christmas spirit.  It looks like they're ready for Christmas!

Here are two more sunning themselves on someone's lawn.

I think this last one was used to posing for photographs, don't you?  He is beautiful!

On the way we pass by this huge contemporary home right on the beach.  I wonder what kind of a person would want to live in a home like this.  I sure wouldn't.  Would you?

  4. Rhondi, we have peacocks that live just down the lane from us and they are quite noisy in the mornings! Beautiful to look at though! What beautiful little homes you have shown us, how blessed those people are to live there. I am not fond of the last one either. Too impersonal and cold looking for my taste! Looks like you are having a wonderful week so far!

  5. Rhondi, welcome to Florida! It looks like you are having a good week so far. How nice that you were able to visit Fifi. You captured some great photos of the little cottages. Did you miss some snow at your home yesterday? My son had a little.

  7. Great bike ride. You took some lovely pix. That peacock has his pose down. The charming cottages in their vibrant colors makes me feel warm on this brisk day.

I could never live in a house that modern, or that large. :-)

  12. Dear Rhondi, Your photos of the historic village are so charming. I adore the peacocks and their glorious color. The cottages have so much charm.

We are heading South for Christmas with our children as soon as the snow goes away. Or at least melts.

May Peace be your gift at Christmas and your blessing all year through!

    Love, Jeanne
