The last giveaway I had was won by another Heidi! Thanks to all of you who entered.
Today I am thankful for the amazing church we go to. We just celebrated our 3 year anniversary and every Sunday there are around 5,000 people in attendance. Our pastor is only 29 years old and is an amazing young man. People are excited to come to church. We bring our neighbors, our co-workers, our friends, our family. This past Sunday the message was about getting involved as a volunteer and over 1,400 people signed up! The pastor's sermons are online every week too. If you want to find out more click here. It is so exciting to be going to a church where people's lives are getting changed, marriages are being restored, teenagers are inviting their friends. If you happen to live near Charlotte North Carolina, I invite you to come.
Here are the others joining in on Thankful Thursday today. Welcome to the new ones joining today. If I missed you please let me know right away and I'll add your name.
I am thankful for Elevation church. What are you thankful for today?
Rhondi xo
Good morning Rhondi. Happy 'Thankful Thursday' and I can see your beautiful message about your amazing church is a good reason to be thankful. Your minister sounds like a wonderful person who does a great job delivering his message. We had a minister like him, young, that we loved and raised a new church to 1,000 members very quickly. We then had to move. We lost touch. We still talk about him.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day...Hugs, Jeanne
Good morning! I came over from Straight from the Heart and I'm joining in on your Thankful Thursday.

Rhondi, You won't believe this, but I live in GA., and my pastor just two weeks ago referred to your pastor and the growth of your church! I'm positive it was your church he was referencing, because he was the same age. I used to live in Charlotte, NC and have only relocated in past two years. I lived in that area for over seven years and loved it. We attended Grace Covenant church in the Huntersville/Cornel., area. Isn't it a small world? I still work for a major bank that is headquarted in Charlotte. Talk soon! ~CC Catherine ;)
ReplyDeleteHi Rhondi, So glad to join in today!!
ReplyDeleteWOW!! God's hand is definitely on your church!! He is truly an amazing God, isn't He?? And it sounds like your pastor is the man God wanted there!!
A good church that teaches sound Biblical truths is getting more and more difficult to find. We loves ours, too, and have been attending there for 20 years now!
So nice to make your acquaintance, Rhondi!! And what a cute name you have!! :o)
Joyful blessings,
Becky
Goodmorning Rhondi
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Heidi for winning your giveaway :-)
Your church ( and Charlotte NC) sounds warm, welcoming and wonderful. 1,400 people signing up to volunteer is incredible !
What amazing growth your church has experienced! I am so thankful to hear that some churches are growing. I seem to read a lot about the lack of church affiliation for so many in this country. laurie
ReplyDeleteHi, Rhondi! I'm thankful for the church, too, and the Godly pastors who shepherd the whole church of the Lord's. :-) Glad you've found a good pastor in your church!
