Thankful Thursday

Hi to all my dear friends in blogland.

Today this post is about you. As I was thinking about what I am thankful for I thought of you. So today I am thankful for all the new friends I've made since I began to blog in November. You have helped me to grow in so many ways, to think more creatively, to become a better photographer, to notice the world around me more, just to name a few.

It all began with my dear friend Mary Lou Weidman's blog. As I was reading it one day I noticed these links she had at the side. That began my adventure in blogland. After reading lots of blogs, I decided to try it myself. That's when I dscovered what wonderful people bloggers are. I tentatively left a few comments and to my surprise they actually wrote back to me. I was hooked! Dear Kim and sweet Angela were the first to leave a comment. I found out later that they were very widely read blogs and yet they took the time to respond. Thank you for giving me that first encouragement Kim and Angela. Since then it has been a wonderful experience and I have made so many new friends: from the UK, Netherlands, Canada, Germany, Australia, Belgium, Sweden, artists, decorators, mothers, granmothers, animal lovers, gourmet cooks, writers, and brave, hardworking, creative, kind, generous and loving women.

So today I am thankful for you.

  3. That was a wonderful post.

Thanks for sending your roosters for the parade. I am in love with your rooster chef. Thanks for including a link in your sweet post.

And, those quilts are just absolutely divine. Oh, and those cherry blossoms in your earlier post are breathtaking.

    Thanks for sharing.

  4. that was a very heartfelt tribute, Rhondi. I feel as if I could write the same. Am amazed at the support and encouragement found in blogdom, and love the glimpses into other's lives, experiences and passions.

And your garden collage is a feast for those, like me, who are still awaiting the end of dismal days of snow and rain. Sun would be such a welcome sight!
